Wonderful guesthouse. It’s right by the beach and close to the town centre. Seoraksan National Park is a 30 minute bus ride away. The room was a decent size and bed was very comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Its location is perfectly situated close to a lot of touristic areas and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The property smells like a dog, which was there.

Exceptional

The staff were very kind and helpful. They gave me a big city map and explained what places are worth visiting in the Seoraksan National Park and in Sokcho. I highly appreciate they helped me plan an onward bus journey to Andong. The bus stop for the National Park is 15 minutes away on foot, the express bus terminal for Seoul about the same, and the intercity bus terminal is a short bus ride away. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and very quiet. I booked a single, but received a double room - thank you! There was a large fridge and a freezer on every floor. Nothing.

The couple that runs The Blue Door are the nicest, most hospitable pair. Good English is spoken. Very kind and accommodating. Their dog Barry, a very friendly black lab, is an extra attraction. The location near the beach and near the Sokcho boardwalk is great. My single room was big enough for one person and very clean and comfortable. A bit far from bus stops if you have to carry luggage.

Rooms were very clean and spacious. Also, owners were kind and always willing to help. They also have a dog called Perry who welcomes you and is adorable! We liked everything

Really near to beach with walking beautiful walking trail. There's restaurants and convenience store near as well. Lovely host! Sokcho rained heavily, aunty was really nice to take me to bus terminal herself❤️. Kamsahamnida! Everything is good. Would be lovely to have laundry facility within the guesthouse?

What a lovely place! It was mt third time in Sokcho and I wanted a more peaceful location, close to the beach. This hostel was perfect and the owner was so kind and helpful. I was very impressed by the room, I was expecting something more basic, but it was absolutely lovely and with a little balcony with a sea view. Thanks for your hospitality!

Convenient Location, very cozy room that’s perfect for a solo traveler. A/C was amazing. zero downsides

The hosts were amazing, super friendly and recommended what to do in the area. The hostel is very close to the beach, so it's easy to go for a swim after a day of sightseeing. Everything was clean. I would recommend the place for a stay in Sokcho and I would book it again, if I was to come back. You can hear the other guests when they are in the corridor, but not when they are in their room. So at worst case you hear them for a few minutes, when the come or go.
