As ever, a welcome worthy of family. Beautifully clean, well appointed. Considerate offer of fan in hot weather. Its our go to in the area. Neighbours (the pub next door) can occasionally be a smidgy bit noisy at chuck out time, but that's being really picky.

convenience, ease of booking, friendliness of staff nothing

Its in an excellent place for our needs, plenty of restaurants shops etc nearby Not a dislike, but a suggestion, the shower cubicle needs a small shelf in it to put shampoo, shower gel etc. on.

As always, an excellent stay here. A good room, clean bathroom, comfy bed, easy parking and no hassles. Particularly, I'd also like to sing the praises of Joy, one of the staff there. She really is exceptional. I had a minor issue connecting to the Wi-Fi and Joy sorted it in no time. I was really impressed because she was extremely pro-active about everything and always two steps ahead of the problem with a solution and a backup solution! She also helped me arrange a late check-out that I needed and - again - just went above and beyond with it. I checked out at the time I needed to with no issues. These might sound like minor things but I've certainly stayed in hotels where both have given me insurmountable problems before. Here, they were sorted in no time by a really friendly, resourceful and helpful person. Like, I felt like she genuinely cared, which is so rare these days.

The staff were amongst some of the friendliest I’ve ever seen. Fantastic service! Unfortunately the rooms were too warm & the fans had no way of cooling down satisfactorily. Also the cleaning hadn’t done the rooms justice. Finally plug points were not always accessible by bedside.

All the reception are very friendly and helpful.

Staff were helpful and polite as usual

I have to give the staff a special mention. They're always so cheery and welcoming, as well as being efficient. Honestly, so few hotels actually make you feel like a "guest" but Redwings does. It's a little thing but lovely to get a warm greeting after a long journey. Also, the room I stayed in yesterday seemed to have been redecorated recently. Some of the rooms are older than others but this had a very fancy new shower (which I enjoyed) and an excellent bed.

Location, clean and friendly staff No lifts for a baby in stroller to carry up to 4th flour, room was too warm as there is literally no proper air circulation on fourth floor, there should have been an AC in the room, no fridge? All the baby food went off. We had to buy new in the morning because there was no fridge.
