Hotel Bemón Playa

Somo is small, the hotel is positioned ok and close to a paid public parking lot Noisy room, wi-fi coverage too weak for use, some items in the room like wc and tv position didn’t have any sense. Breakfast venue narrow and overcrowded at any hour while service could be improved. There are budget hotels way better organised and mantained.

Location " close enough to the beach". Very friendly staff at the reception and cleaning personnel. Surprisingly nice breakfast. A very tasty bottle of sparkling wine in the premium room (but even this room without air con) No airconditioning was a very negative surprise. beds comfortable but the building was heated up and couldnt find a good rest until very late. no hotel bar, no option to buy drinks. our wish to have two adjacents rooms wasnt fulfilled. The numbers were close but the rooms were in two different wings of the building. the lobby appeared dirty and run down. The garage has a steep and curvy entrance.. and at first we were told it is full (even it wasnt).

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was beautiful, very comfortable. The staff was always friendly and available and responded quickly whenever we needed anything.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach as well as plenty of shops and restaurants, making it very convenient. The room was clean, and both the room and the bed were very comfortable. We also appreciated having private parking available, which made getting around much easier. Nothing. It was a comfortable and convenient stay.

I booked only 2 nights as a test to make sure the room was cool, comfortable, and had strong internet for afternoons “at work.” I’ve extended for the whole week! The reception recommended a small room in the back because it was cooler. The room is rather small, but no complaints for a single traveler. I sleep well at night with no noise or bugs. The temperature has been delightful both in and out of the room, even without air-con or a fan. But I noticed that they offered some guests fans if needed. Breakfast has plenty of options.

Great dog friendly hotel located 20 minutes drive from the Santander ferry terminal. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was very good. Plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Nothing

It is very close to beach. And everything else also - shops, restaurants. The staff was very nice. There is no A/C in the room. It was not too hot outside but still it was hot in the room.

Clean, cozy, one person at the reception very friendly and welcoming, very good location for beach activities, good cleaning service One particular person hosting the breakfast was very unwelcoming and seemed to be pissed at us every morning she was working. Made the breakfast experience very ackward. One morning there was another person working who was very friendly, kind and welcoming which made our day. With this angry persons service i wouldnt pay for the breakfast if staying another time. Probably preferring some other place to stay. Thats not such customer service im looking for. Also walls seemed to be thin without any real sound protection but thats understandable and kind of normal in that kind of buildings. Could here the neighbour snoring on several nights.

Everything was absolutely great, the staff, the room, the breakfast, everything. Also, they had a special room to store the surfboard. I felt like every need was already anticipated before was stated. I really appreciate their work and will be happy to come back!

The room was adequate and it was nice to have a small balcony. There was no air-conditioning, as we had thought and not even a ceiling fan or anything. The town had an awful issue of not opening restaurants in the evenings for no apparent reason and locals were not particularly pleasant. We won't be going back to the area unfortunately.

I parked over nite outside on the street as others did. My car was damaged by someone driving past. I was told it was ok to park outside. The damaged will cost several hundred euro to repair No proper food only burgers and such. I got no breakfast as the didnt commece service until 8am
