Hotel Tirrenia

Stayed a few nights and would happily come back. The whole place feels fresh and new — bright, colourful design that reads really clean and modern. Our room was spacious with two balconies (yes, two) looking out over the bay, which was a lovely surprise. The location is spot on: right at the quiet end of Corso Italia, so you're a step away from the crowds but still walkable to everything in the centre — we got around entirely on foot. Staff were friendly and efficient, and handled our check-in and check-out smoothly even though both landed at awkward late-night/early hours. Breakfast was included and good quality, if not exceptional. A really nice touch: the kitchen sent up a small birthday cake without us having mentioned anything beforehand, which made it feel genuine. Rooms were cleaned properly throughout. A few honest minor things: it's close to the road so you occasionally notice it, though the soundproofing is good and the traffic isn't too bad. You can't turn off the balcony lights at night (fine if you close the curtains, but I like waking up with the sun). And the rooftop pool is a bit small for the size of the hotel — probably banking on most guests preferring the sea — so just go in with the right expectations.

The rooms were clean and modern and well air-conditioned. The pool area was also clean, and the bar staff at breakfast and around the pool were very friendly. There is a limited amount of sunbeds, so if you don’t decide to go to the pool in the morning you are unlikely to get a spot. The breakfast is quite basic. There was a water issue during our stay, and there was no communication or reassurance around this. This was on our last day so we were concerned about being able to have showers etc, and when asked if we could keep the room longer or perhaps use another room this was shutdown.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, modern, and well maintained. The breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of options to choose from each morning. The rooftop pool was a highlight of our stay, offering an amazing atmosphere and stunning panoramic views. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing rooftop pool and fabulous breakfast with a gorgeous view. The staff were very fussy about the pool towels and even accused us of losing ours when the housekeepers took them and forgot to replace them.

The service at the rooftop restaurant was excellent. Adriano truly made the difference during our stay with his professionalism, attentiveness, and warm hospitality. He was one of the highlights of our experience and deserves special recognition. The standard rooms are quite small, and we ended up having to upgrade to be comfortable. There was also a strange smell coming from the bathroom that resembled a sewer odor. The breakfast was very basic and lacked variety. Overall, the hotel is overpriced for what it actually offers. While it may work for a short stay, the experience did not justify the price compared to other options in the area.

Easily accessible to everything in town. Clean, comfortable rooms. Beautiful rooftop pool. Amazing pizza restaurant in the lobby.

Location Very small rooms

Nothing. Location and view was falsely advertised. “Ocean view” was a parking lot view. I checked in and immediately wanted to leave. Did not stay here at all. Kindly asked for a refund/what they could do for me and was declined. So I paid 100% of the stay here without staying here an hour. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Bad customer service and horrible views.

Heated pool Breakfast included Location was close to everything Staff were great don’t change anything Children’s play area and Gym open too late into the evening! I would recommend opening and closing hours be posted! IMHO 0800-2000hrs! We stayed in Apt 2 and the scrapping chair and table noise was bad from above Pizza bar! I would recommend some kind of felt or no noise sliders on the legs!

Perfect location! Very clean and helpful staff.

The air conditioning in my room was noisy and not efficient, tried to change the room or fix the problem, through the management , my request was denied ☹️

Sorrento is a very nice city and this hotel is very comfortable and well located to visit it.
