It’s far from everything

Amazing view, amazing staff!Starting from the reception to housekeeper, good breakfast and one of the very beautiful view of where i’ve ever stayed.I will surely come back! The property is very modern and very well maintained, and the view is much more than beautiful.

Reasonably sized rooms, the view from the hotel towards the beach is breathtaking. Good air conditioning. Breakfast was rich and full of options. Good location for trips to other towns - and offering a free shuttle service to Sorento center. Small shower with a leaking hose Towels, robes and blankets felt old and hand washed Relatively far from Sorento center and shuttles come once an hour+untill 23:30.

First off, this hotel was lovely, quiet and quaint. The views from our balcony and the pool were marvelous. A few things that we did not know about before we arrived. The hotel is one of many located on the way up a large mountain. The roads are narrow with lots of twists and turns and no sidewalks. I am sure walking to Sorrento could be done, but I would discourage it. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from town throughout the day. Most of the time the shuttle is on time picking up from the hotel, but typically late when being picked up in town and retuning back. The complimentary breakfast was a moderately sized buffet that accommodated pastries, coffee, cereal, eggs, yogurt, fruit, cured meat and bread. Dinner required reservations so be sure to reserve as soon as possible seatings start at 7:00. There is a bar so you can purchase alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages – even a bottle of wine to bring back to your room, where there is a small refrigerator. There is an ATM at the hotel next-door which came in very handy when you needed Euros. My daughter and I were out and about touring, exploring, and soaking up the sun each day so the time spent in our room was mainly for showering and sleeping. Everyone spoke English and was polite and accommodating. It was our first time in Italy and along with the weather this hotel made the trip memorable.

View Hard to get to

Beds weren’t the most comfortable. Slightly removed from sorrento but the shuttle was good.

The views from our room # 12 was amazing! They had a refrigerator in the room so you could have your wine on your deck. We often ordered supper from their restaurant and had it delivered to our room so we could enjoy our view.. . It’s a bit out of town up in the hills overlooking Sorrento. They have a bus that picks you up and drop you off in town for free they give you A Bus schedule when you arrive. They also offer excursions that pick you up right at the hotel very convenient. They have a beautiful breakfast in the morning. And the meals we had at the restaurant were really good. The only thing I can say that I didn’t like was there was a lot of stairs. They do have a ramp for luggage that I was able to use with pretty much ease.

The shuttle service was great and the location of the hotel was about 15 minutes from Sorrento. Loved the view from the hotel. Much prefer staying outside of the centre of Sorrento- very peaceful. Prefer being woken up by roosters as opposed to cars and motorcycles.
-
Though I enjoyed the breakfast, it would have been nice to be able to access the coffee machine before the restaurant opened at 7:00.

The staff went over and above to make our stay comfortable. A free bus stops right outside the door to take you downtown. The food at the restaurant was excellent and there were lots of choices. Lots of variety at breakfast too. If you are driving it is a bit of a challenge to get up to the hotel but a staff member was available to escort us to the parking which made it very easy.

The staff was exceptional and very helpful. The view from our balcony was so nice of the city of sorrento

We loved the property was clean and the rooms were comfortable. The breakfast was really good with a lot of choices. We also liked the shuttle bus to town, it was easy to use and convenient because taxi or Uber is very expensive. The room had an amazing view in the morning and the night. Nothing

The location has beautiful views and is very comfortable. There is a restaurant with multiple options and delicious food. Breakfast was excellent. It is a distance from downtown ( 15-20 min)however a free bus stops right in front, leaves hourly and drops you close to the main square and the train station.

The view was outstanding, hard to take in because it looked unreal. Balcony was lovely to take in the view. The breakfast was fantastic, the restaurant for dinner was great. The shuttle was reliable, not too difficult to figure out. You just have to orient your timing to the shuttle - a little attention in order to be out of the rush of the city and have the amazing view. Bed, room size, staff, cleanliness were all top notch. We arranged a tour of Amalfi coast cities by boat through the hotel, which was great!

Great view of Mount Vesuvius from the property. Staff very nice. A good dining room - we used it both nights we were there...with reasonable prices. Room smallish but balcony spacious - we had a sea view. Wonderful breakfast with plenty of choice. Hot tub with a view! It is a bit out of town so be prepared for a 20 minute 'Shuttle' ride. We nearly missed the shuttle to the property first time since it is not the only hotel they pick up for. There is a few a day but an expensive taxi ride if you need to go at a different time. The hot tub was cool the first night but they apologized due to the seasonal temperature change. The next afternoon it was lovely to sit in it and look at the view. I didn't use the pool since other guests told me it was cold but I'm sure in the summer it is lovely. I visited early October.

Stunning views, amazing staff, and wonderful free breakfast. Dinner menu was also a lovely choice.

Gap in middle of bed

It is far from the city. You cannot walk to Sorrento, as there are no sidewalks and it would be a very long walk. There is a shuttle bus that leaves every hour, at times it was standing room only. There is no microwave in the room, and the towels were pretty thin. They have a worker standing in the restaurant at breakfast watching every move you make, which was a little offsetting. Not really talkative just staring.

Fantastic view overlooking Sorrento city. A free shuttle was provided at very reasonable timeslots with the last departing from town back to the hotel at 11:30pm. Beware if you miss it though, transport and cabs in Amalfi are extortion so expect to pay €50 if you miss the last bus. Easy shuttle pick up and drop off though, close to main square. Incredibly nice and helpful staff and free parking close by if you have the nerve to drive around the area. Also, fantastic breakfast, great food with restaurant on site and both a pool and 2 x jacuzzi’s. Highly recommend. Mum and I loved it.

Family room we stayed had a fantastic view! Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The free shuttle service was really helpful, especially since the hotel is not in the town center. Just be aware that the large pool seen from the rooms actually belongs to the hotel next door — the hotel’s own pool is quite small.
