Everything went fine, no complaints. Staff at the pool were very helpful especially if there was a language difficulty. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was extremely handy for local buses and walks around the Cap. The only thing we did not realise was that we were looking at the wonderful view of Vesuvius over a busy main road , but it was not noisy at night so not a problem. We did read that there would be a shuttle bus from the hotel, but this was not available unfortunately .

Beautiful and clean Air conditioner wasn’t working properly. Pool should have longer hours

The hotel itself is a little dated in places, but it is clean and well maintained. We initially had a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the pool, which was very quiet but did not have a balcony. We decided to pay extra to upgrade to a sea-facing room at the front, and it was definitely worth it. The sea-view rooms are bright, clean and offer lovely views. The shower in our room was excellent, with great water pressure, although the shower space itself was quite tight. One of the hotel's biggest strengths is the owners, who are incredibly obliging and work very hard to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. They were always helpful and friendly. The organised day trips offered through the hotel are highly recommended. We took excursions to Capri and the Amalfi Coast, and both were fantastic experiences and well worth the money. Another bonus is you are last to be picked up before the boat and first to be dropped back to hotel. The swimming pool was lovely and surprisingly quiet. We often had it almost entirely to ourselves, which was a real bonus. Access to Sorrento is excellent with a bus stop outside the door and bus runs every 20 mins costing €2. Breakfast was included and perfectly adequate, with a coffee machine offering plenty of choices. The only downside was that the breakfast selection was exactly the same every day, which became a little repetitive during our few days stay.

The rooms do not have a kettle, drinking water, mugs, or slippers. When we asked for at least a couple of mugs, we were given disposable cups that seemed to come from a first-aid kit.

We loved the location. It wasn’t right in town it was away just a little up more and we liked that. There was a bus stop right outside the hotel and was so easy, quick ride and cheap to get back and forth from the hotel to the main town, ferries and train. We had a balcony room looking out and was beautiful. Breakfast in the morning and very clean rooms. The staff super friendly and so helpful with questions. Right next door is a little restaurant that’s open late and was so convenient. Would definitely recommend this hotel. We really enjoyed our stay in Sorrento.

Liked everything!

Loved our huge terrace that was attached to our room. Amazing view overlooking the pool & Sorrento. Good breakfast, could have included more savoury options. Sometimes the elevator took a long time, so ended up taking the stairs.

We loved the location and the staff was very nice. The breakfast and coffee each morning was delicious! The choices were so amazing! We also loved the view from the garden overlooking the town and the sea. The fact that it is a legacy property that has been handed down through the family really made it special! There really is nothing I can think of that was negative.

Great breakfast!! Many options! Felt the property was too far from the center of town and not walkable. Did not have a coffee/tea pot in the room, towels were thin and restaurant had limited choices for evening and pool closed early.

The hotel was spotless, the breakfast was great and I loved the pool area Pool boy never interacted with anybody, just sat on his phone all the time. Just a bit far out, but buses every 30 minutes so not really a problem

Friendly staff, clean rooms, stupendous views, bus stopped right outside the hotel, breakfast included and pool on the property.

It was clean. Having booked 2 double rooms we were given 1 double and 1 twin. This was changed to a double, although all doubles we saw are effectively twin rooms with the 2 beds put together and with a double sheet on top, which wasn't as comfortable as a proper double for us as a gap formed in-between occasionally during the night. The hotel and all facilities are very dated. One room had a shower over a bath but with the shower located in the middle of the length of the bath, and the screen stopping at that point. You couldn't stand at the end with the screen protection due to the shape of the bottom of the tub meaning water would run out of the tub no matter what. The other room had a shower cubicle but very small. Sorrento is an expensive place so maybe this should be expected. It was ok but disappointing compared to the photos.

The hotel meet all our expectations would stay there again, breakfast was very good, staff excellent and helpful and the pool was good

The staff is AMAZING. Helpful, happy, warm, love them! The bathroom was not good. The shower was horrible, you had to hold it with one hand. Very uncomfortable.

Breakfast service from Francisco and Luigi was excellent. The food choices were plenty but are the same items every day we stayed. Dinner selection was very good. Patio and pool were an added benefit. This hotel is on the main road with a local bus stop 15 steps from the hotel door. There was a road right outside the Minimart that went down to the archeological site beach area. Our room was located on level 1, facing the road — was challenging for a good nights rest as a result of the heavy traffic outside —- buses, cars, motorcycles, Vespas and people.

The toilet in our first room was broken. There was no parking. You had to pay at the nearby parking (with hotel note you get a slightly better price of 15eur per night) The breakfast was terrible. Close to 0 protein options. The omelette were really bad (watery and filled with weird stuff eg onions)

Was fantastic, good breakfast, great staff very helpful. The decor was great, I am a designer by trade and love it when the property is well coordinated and feels inviting. Nothing not to like. It did not have an elevator/lift if that is important to a guest.

Pleasant

The pool is very nice and the building it self is pleasant The rooms are very small, the bed and pillow are not the best, you cannot control the AC inside the room, you need to ask the reception to turn on to you. The Shower is tinny! Good luck not turning off with your back, we were on the 2nd floor with good water pressure, but my dad on the 3rd floor had no pressure whatsover on his shower. Staff at breakfast are very straight forward, whatever is there is what you are getting, do not even bother requesting further things from the kitchen, you wont have it - breakfast is ok. Hotels in this area are very expensive, so I would say you get what you are paying for.

The location is amazing, I strongly advise visiting Bagni Ragina Giovanna. The view is beautiful from there and you can swim when the tide is right. The cleaning and housekeeping is excellent. Fresh towels were available daily. There's a taxi to Sorrento center available on specific times each day. It doesn't go until later at night but the normal bus works fine then instead. The swimming pool is a nice addition for a quick swim when the sea is a bit rough because of the tide. The hotel helps out with requests and offers suggestions. The hotel WiFi really helps out because the phone WiFi in the region is very spotty. Busses passing the hotel are unreliable, unrelated to the hotel but affecting your stay. The hotel taxi doesn't take you if you bring a suitcase. At first one of the two person beds was on wheels making them split apart, the hotel fixed this the next day in a sufficient way. One night the manager was asleep with 4 people trying to enter the hotel waiting outside, the bell didn't work, knocking on the door helped wake him after some time. There's no way to open the main door with your card.
