The view is absolutely stunning! The food from the hotel is also great! However, what we liked the most was the staff. They were amazing! Very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Best place to stay in Sorrento!

If you're looking for the perfect place to stay near Sorrento, stop searching—Hotel Il Nido is truly a gem. We spent four wonderful nights here, and from the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything exceeded our expectations. Our room was spotless, bright, and comfortable, and the view from the balcony was simply breathtaking. Watching the Bay of Naples every morning was an experience we'll never forget. The food deserves a special mention. Every meal at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, and as someone who requires a gluten-free diet, I was genuinely impressed by how easily and professionally the staff accommodated my needs. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay—without a doubt one of the best we've ever had. Freshly squeezed orange juice, a wide variety of high-quality options, and an irresistible selection of more than eight different kinds of warm pastries that were constantly replenished. They were so good that they alone would be a reason to come back! The complimentary shuttle to and from Sorrento was another huge advantage. It was punctual, convenient, and made exploring the area effortless while allowing us to enjoy the peace and spectacular views away from the busy town center. What made this hotel truly exceptional, though, was the combination of outstanding service, delicious food, incredible views, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We left with wonderful memories and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We can't recommend Hotel Il Nido highly enough. If you're planning a trip to the Sorrento area, do yourself a favor and book this hotel—you won't regret it. —-

I traveled to Sorrento in May 2026. Gianni, the owner, was an incredible host! Even though I booked a different room without a view, Gianni made sure I had an ocean view room. It was a beautiful stay and the hosts made even more special. The daily breakfasts were delicious and the complimentary shuttle to town was such a treat. Thank you Gianni for everything and I hope to see you again.

We loved our stay at Hotel Il Nido! Perched above Sorrento with amazing views of the Bay of Naples, the hotel was a relaxing oasis after a day of touring and crowds. The staff was so welcoming and kind, we immediately felt at home. The breakfast buffet was great, and the restaurant also served an excellent menu for lunch and dinner. The free shuttle to Sorrento was convenient and easy to use, and made the hotel a wonderful home base for our day trips and exploration of Sorrento, Naples and the Amalfi Coast. Highly recommend!

It was far away enough from the city and had incredible views! The breakfast was delicious and they had plenty of gluten free options. There was nothing I disliked about the property.

Owner is friendly, informative and caring. Very clean room. Wonderful breakfast. Amazing view from the room terrace. Good restaurant in the hotel. Shuttle bus saves the need to get to Sorrento by car which is both difficult and expensive to park.

Two things that kept the review less than exceptional; 1) at the time of our visit, the hotel was understaffed, and 2) the shuttle service to Sorrento, while timely every hour during the day, was less than convenient.

The property was well maintained and had a gorgeous view! The staff was friendly and great breakfast. Everything was great!

One of the best hotels I have stayed in so many countries I visited. The sunset is unforgetable The staff was lovely, the view of our balcony was amazing. In addition, the restaurant has so many delicious dishes that we had dinner there many times. I recommend to stay at this hotel to any friend I have. Staff were exceptional as well as the food. There was a bus that stopped at the hotel transferred us into town that made it very convenient.

Beautiful, tranquil hotel with spectacular views and delicious breakfast. Location - it's away from the center of the city, not much to do nearby. However, it gave me an opportunity to see the other side of Sorrento which has amazing views.

Absolutely beautiful! The hotel is located about 10 minutes away from the town up in the mountain and looks over the coast. Could not be a better view! Also very convenient that they provide a shuttle to and from town. No complaints
