Villa Giovanna

Everyone was so lovely and went out of their way to help me have the best experience. The shuttle service to the villa and to the center is very efficient and helpful. The atmosphere is so peaceful and quiet. The views from the garden and the small pool is very nice

Very well kept, beautiful location and environment, great personnel and breakfast Very convenient with transportation to the center of the town and even nice enough to take us to the train station. We wish we would have stayed more. We should stayed more time!!

The breakfast was delicious with a variety of freshly baked breads, fruit, and fresh caprese salad. Our stay here was delightful!

Small beautiful boutique tropical locally family owned hotel, 10 minute shuttle ride from the bustle and noise of downtown Sorrento. Great breakfast. Staff was exceptionally kind and willing to assist in any way. It was like being part of the family. Also family related to the Johanna Park hotel up the hill a little bit. Where there is an excellent restaurant. Needs a little more tlc in the shower grout.

EVERYTHING: friendly staff, delicious breakfast, beautiful grounds, amazing views, spacious and clean rooms, the property pup, Chloe ❤️ I wouldn’t say it’s a dislike but rather some feedback that perhaps a couple luggage stands in each room as squatting to the floor to dig through bags is less than convenient. ? Our only disappointment was the group of 4-5 American girls (young but old enough to know better) were very loud until 4-430am each night, shared a wall with us and kept us and our teen daughter up each night. This definitely is not a fault of the property as we never complained to management, though perhaps they could have stressed “quiet hours”…after 11pm maybe? ?

Very beautiful location for a relaxing holiday, out side the center if Sorrento but the shuttles were great and the stuff were very nice, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was great! Easy with parking and easy to get to with a car. Great for day trips to the Amalfi coast Nothing maybe some noise from the other room one but nothing to bad

Absolutely gorgeous!! Perfect sunset views. The flowers, fruits trees. You were captivated into a serene, calming environment. Very relaxing. Staying there felt like family. They took excellent care of us. From Antionetta making sure we knew when the shuttle would arrive. To Daniela’s amazing eggs, coffee, breakfast. Everything was fabulous. We can’t wait to come back.

Off the beaten path. Peaceful and great view. The family is very welcoming. Shuttle service to center city. Free parking, pretty grounds. The suite was roomy with a balcony. I would only recommend the suite. The shower leaked under the wall into the bedroom . The hotel rooms itself need updating.

Everything was amazing, Laura is a true professional and dedicated to her job. Her loyalty to the hotel’s guests is noteworthy! Ricardo made our stay feel at home. The entire staff was amazing and most of all, respectful. N/A

Family owned and ran. They were so accommodating to our every need. They moved breakfast 2 hours earlier since we had a tour. They helped with our transportation needs. Did not get room I booked the first night however they moved us the second night. They moved our luggage while we were off on a tour.

The hospitality was 5 star! They attended to our every need!! The views from our rooms were spectacular! Breakfast was delicious! We felt like familia! It was a little off the beaten path but they took care of this by offering convenient shuttle service to the Main Street.

Location was away from the bustle, shuttle made it convenient to get back from town, staff very friendly Bed was a bit uncomfortable unfortunately

The venue is stunning, rooms are lovely, the views are amazing! Surrounded by orange and lemon trees. Breakfast in the morning served by friendly staff. Shuttle bus multiple times to and from the centre of Sorrento. Could hear guests in neighbouring rooms, alarms, water etc. Not ideal for walking in and out of the town due to lack of footpaths and lots of steps. Taxis were expensive approx €30 for a 5 minute journey.

I liked absolutely everything about Villa Giovanna. The view from my little single room was exceptional, as was the cooked-to-order breakfast each day out on the terrace. The pleasant jumble of old villas, gardens, terraces and patios was pretty and welcoming without feeling unpleasantly posh. The best part was the peace and quiet above the noisy bustle of Sorrento, all easily accessible via a frequent free shuttle service or by an amazingly beautiful (very steep) cobbled path down the face of the mountainside. That same path also let over the top of the mountain for very enjoyable walks between villages. To top it off all of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would have appreciated a slightly more comfortable bed.

We absolutely loved the grounds and the shuttle service. The service was amazing and it was a peaceful place to go back to after a long day. Drinks by the pool and a wonderful outdoor breakfast every morning. Everyone was so helpful. Nothing it was all great
