Villaggio Verde

The property was gorgeous, tucked just up the hill from the main square of Sorrento. The staff were absolutely fantastic, I wish we had wrote down their names so we could give them an appropriate shout out. They were very helpful with anything you could possibly need and incredibly friendly. The pool bar was open until 11pm with reasonably priced basic cocktails and soft drinks with food service in the afternoon. The pool was beautiful and never too busy during our stay. There are free chairs at the pool with optional loungers available to rent with a towel for 5 euros. You’re not allowed to bring your hotel towels to the pool so if you want a towel for the pool bring your own or just pay the 5 euros. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk down and maybe 15 minute walk back up. Not much of a sidewalk on the road going into town so can be a little scary if there’s lots of cars. It’s not a reasonable walk for somebody with mobility issues or too out of shape due to the hill but it’s doable. A cab either way was 20 euros. For the price point compared to other options available in Sorrento it cannot be beat. The pictures don’t do the property justice, highly recommend staying here.

This place was so cute. Felt like a little getaway and a cute cabin. Very spacious and the beds were comfy. The air conditioning worked very well. The staff were very helpful! Only slight thing is to get to the property it’s a little bit of a walk uphill but honestly it wasn’t too bad, I didn’t mind too much.

The pool and breakfast were very good.Staff was outstanding above and beyond . When you stay at Villagio Verde here you are staying with a family run hotel ,I can not thank all of them enough,they even gave us ride to the hospital for my wife.Grazie Mille!!

It was cozy and felt like you were out of town when it was just a 10 minute walk to centre. The swimming pool was the icing on the cake for the children. Very clean pool, and public beach to the sea was walking distance. To swim in the sea was a treat. The mattresses were a little uncomfortable.

The staff were so friendly and looked after us very well, the rooms were very clean and well kept. Pool area and restaurant were always spotless. Nothing was a problem for the staff, I would recommend to everyone. Ideal for families or couples. Very convenient also to the center of Sorrento, no need for taxis The economy bungalows are close to the road so can get a little noisy in the morning with traffic passing. You can't see the road and its only a small road but it is close, but if you go for one of the other type bungalows, you are well away from that

Nice location, walking distance to Sorrento. Boat tours with pick up from hotel to Capri and Amalfi was an opportunity. Nice bungalow in greens. Very friendly and helpfull staff. We parked in front of our bungalow. It was a very nice and relaxing stay.

The staff were friendly and very helpful in assisting with activities and bookings The WIFI was practically nonexistent outside of the main office. This was frustrating because I wasn’t able to FaceTime nor doing anything in which WiFi was needed.

The “cabin” style. Beautiful grounds with trees, lemon trees, birds, nice shade. Quiet and not a far walk down the hill to the main tourist streets, restaurants below. Clean. Great staff! Nothing. It was a good value and more affordable which was important to us.

Perfect location to visit Sorrento and Amalfi coast. Private parking. Short walk to city centre and to the bus and trein station. Nice pool and bar. The chalets are equipped with good air conditioning and a fridge with a small kitchen the mattresses of the bed were very hard and in my opinion old and in need of replacement. we were on the street side of the campsite where there was quite a bit of noise, also the garbage bins of the campsite, which are put outside at 6 o'clock in the morning made a lot of noise.

I liked the very friendly staff and the beautiful lemon garden inside which the bungalows are located. Each bungalow has its own secluded small garden where you can sit and enjoy your time. Even if I didn't use the swimming pool, the view from the swimming pool area is astonishing. There is AC in bungalows, which made us survive hot days. Light inside the bungalows is very deemed and it would be better to add more lamps. Even if the towels were clean, some were a bit ripped and worn out. Also the cord of electric kettle was short and didn't reach the socket. These are minor and easily fixable stuff, and is just a suggestion for hotel management for future customer satisfaction.

Was in a great location close to Vatican. Well kept clean building. Was more of a suite than a room with small dining area and access to a fully equipped kitchen including fridge and food options and coffee making abilities host even left cake for us in the room. Liked everything about this property.
