Casa Lucia

The grounds are absolutely stunning and the breakfast had a wonderful variety. I booked this hotel for the pool, based off the images online. When we got to the property and it turns out the beautiful large pool in the photos no longer existed, but rather a tiny pool that was only big enough for a few people. Super disappointed. Looks like they have since updated their photos annd do not include photos of the new smaller pool. Also the hot tub in our room would not stay on. We told staff and I thought they looked at it but we had the same issue later that night. The breakfast was wonderful, however the lady working was not friendly at all. Although the grounds are absolutely stunning, the pool and hot tub were a huge disappointment.

The location was amazing and the ambiance as well The AC in The first room we checked in the first night was not working but the staff moved us the next day to a different room with an upgrade And The breakfast has a small options of food but overall it was not bad They have an intex pool and the water was not so clean so we didn’t use it

It was in a fabulous location, the property was serene and beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic. The bunnies in residence were beyond adorable. The pool was just perfect for a relaxing day of reading and sunbathing. Honestly - nothing!!

Différent and an experience from other hotels There was an event that night and the time limit was not respected! The person on duty at the reception desk the next morning did what was needed and I was totally satisfied with the outcome!

Casa Lucia B&B was one of the absolute highlights of our honeymoon and an experience we will never forget. We stayed for four nights, and while Sorrento itself is incredibly beautiful, authentic, and charming, Casa Lucia perfectly embodies all of those same qualities. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for by the wonderful staff. Every single person we encountered was kind, friendly, hardworking, and deserving of recognition. The cheerful and helpful woman at the front desk always greeted us with a smile and was happy to assist with anything we needed. The talented woman who prepared the breakfast buffet each morning created an absolutely delicious spread that we looked forward to every day. One morning, an elderly gentleman—who we believe may have been the owner—personally cooked and served us eggs and provided exceptional service that made us feel like honored guests rather than customers. We also admired the young man who worked tirelessly on the beautiful landscaping while preparing the property for a wedding during our stay. The pride and care that everyone puts into Casa Lucia is evident everywhere you look. Although our room was on the smaller side, it was comfortable and served its purpose perfectly. Most importantly, the bed was by far the most comfortable bed we slept in during our honeymoon—even more comfortable than those at the luxury hotels where we stayed in Positano and Ravello. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. The lemon trees, charming gardens, lovely horticulture, and adorable pet rabbits create an atmosphere that feels uniquely special. The vibe is authentically Italian, relaxing, and refreshing. Rather than feeling like a typical hotel stay, it felt as though we were staying with an Italian friend at their beautiful family property, complete with a wonderful homemade breakfast each morning. The location was also ideal.

Beautiful property with interesting and hidden details - wonderful breakfast, lovely gardens, relaxing pool. Unique artistic touches throughout and some cool domesticated rabbits, turtles, and peacocks (at least I think that’s what they were). Great location near both Marina Grande and Marina Piccolo. Also an attentive and friendly staff.

Location for walking is good. Very nice outdoor part of the property. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. They can't change this but a downside is you don't get any of the majesty of the coast.

Breakfast was delicious and in such a beautiful atmosphere, whether inside or outside. I wish breakfast could have been offered earlier, like starting at 7am. We had to go to a tour one day, and we wish we could have eaten breakfast at the bed and breakfast.

The outdoor space was phenomenal. So relaxing. Beautiful garden. Great to have the pool, ample seating and lounge chairs. And the resident bunnies were a huge plus!

It was a very unique outdoor space. It felt like you had your own personal park. Breakfast started at 8am. Both our tours we had to leave by 7-730am.

Walking onto the grounds of Casa Lucia is like walking into a storybook. The facility is impeccably manicured inside and out. Our very large and clean and quiet room had a small balcony with wonderful views of the garden, hills and ocean in the distance. The breakfast was the very best I've had in any country, in any hotel! Most items are cooked from scratch. I particularly appreciated the more savory elements--lots of vegetables, salads and protein--along with traditional breakfast items. Fresh fruit mostly from trees on the property are available for eating or juicing. Coffee is from an on demand machine--it wasn't perfect but for machine made coffee it was good enough. Staff is nearly always available. They were very helpful in arranging private drivers for us when we needed them. The outdoor space was plentiful and beautifully landscaped with many nooks and crannies where you could read a book, enjoy a glass of wine or just sit and enjoy the lemon trees, etc. It was so lovely that one night we went to a nearby shop, bought everything we needed for dinner and ate under an arbor. The cleaning staff was responsive when we needed something (fresh towels, etc.). Personally I liked the location on the edge of the historic district though some might find it too far from the 'action' of the center. It was quiet and a very short walk down the hill to Marina Grande. Personally I thought my mattress was too firm and I had a hard time sleeping on it until I put a large comforter down on it to soften it up a bit. However, my friend who was in a separate bed thought hers was just perfect. So if you like a firm mattress you'll be fine. It's also important to note that the venue rents out some of their space in the back for private parties, weddings, etc. This can be noisy the night of an event so if noise bothers you be sure to ask if anything is scheduled. I didn't mind it because it sounded very festive--when it came time to go to bed we simply shut our doors and windows and could barely hear the music.
