Somehow my credit card was charged more than the original amount on my travel confirmation receipt. Not sure if the thief was the hotel or Expedia. I will stay away from both in the future.

The facilities were simple but the view and the amenities were wonderful. Coming back soon

The is a very well maintained property despite its obvious age. The staff is super friendly and the room was clean and well appointed, just outdated but we were there for the fabulous view from our balcony! We would stay here again!

Fantastic location right on the private beach. Several places in walking distance: CVS and Big Daddy's Burgers. Safeway is just down the street. Comfortable beds. Elevator worked perfectly. Only downside is no air conditioning. The pool and spa are very nice and the beach is clean.

The hotel is in a very central location, within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the parking area was spacious and convenient. We also had a memorable surprise on our last night when a bear came into the hotel garden. Unfortunately, the lake area in front of the hotel was one of the dirtiest parts we saw, with green algae and cloudy water. The water was better in the morning, but by the afternoon it was very difficult to enjoy swimming. The pool was also dirty and seemed to have an old filtration system, with duck feathers and debris constantly floating on the surface, so we could not use it. The room was not as clean as we expected. The beds were very old and uneven, and we all had back pain after sleeping on them. The bathroom and toilet area were also extremely small and uncomfortable.

Higher rates next year and soon it will be sold again. Soon South Lake Tahoe infact all of the lake will be only affordable to the rich clients. The resort and marina and dock next door sold for 64 million and reno at 27million

Awesome location and beach.
-
Great location. The room smelled stuffy. On the Hotel details it doesn’t state that they do not have ac. Although they do have many fans available, this would of been nice to know before booking.

The pool, the kitchen and the views We had a very disappointing experience with one of the staff members. We were accused of entering without authorization, even though we explained that we had a valid reservation. Rather than listening to us, the staff member spoke to us in a rude and confrontational manner. The interaction felt unwelcoming and, unfortunately, came across as discriminatory. It was especially disappointing because we had been having a great time up until that point. Because of this experience, we will not be returning. I sincerely hope management addresses this issue so that no other guests have to go through a similar experience.
