The shared bathroom is a bit dirty, but it could be because of the other tenants, not the hostel itself.

I booked here twice, extending my stay, because it was such a wonderful experience. Perfect location, smack in the middle of the palace and only 1min walk to the Riva. It was so convenient, I could walk to all the meeting points of my excursions within 5mins. The hostel is beautifully decorated with a charming garden. The staff is friendly and on duty 24/7. The social vibe is great too. I love this place and it wins the gold medal of all the hostels I’ve stayed across the world. If it’s available for your dates, grab it! Absolutely nothing bad to say.

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed at in the world! Best location right in the centre of Diocletian’s Palace. Amazing conscientious staff ready to help with whatever you need 24/7 and keeping it sparkling clean. Lovely garden for hanging out in and even a rooftop balcony with a magnificent view. I cannot say enough about this place, it gets my highest recommendation. Do yourself a favour and book it. Bonus: You get a discount at the neighbouring restaurant Lui that has really delicious food. Nothing.

I stayed in double room and shower area was little bit small
-
Stains on my towels and sheets, mold on the showers, loud construction in the lobby
-
It’s too noise and some of the people staying there were playing loud music until late at night.
-
Location near all the sites. Spar market close by. Kitchen is a joke, not for cooking just for warming up in a small microwaves. No plates, cups nor cutlery besides the paper ones. No pans not pots. Fridge very dirty. No place to seat. Escalators not working it seems they are working on fixing the place. Very dusty everywhere. Tables outside wet and full of tree leaves. Pathetic.

Cas review of Split.

The receptionist was very helpful and perfect location I can't use hairdryer while others still sleeping coz it's inside the room

Front desk was open 24-7, and staff was kind. My private room (which I “upgraded” from a dorm, hoping I’d get better sleep) was on the 2nd floor, directly across from a nightclub. The windows were ratty, and unsuccessful in blocking out noise; they also couldn’t open, which made the room stuffy. I couldn’t sleep at all on a Friday night, due to the noise. Staff tried their best, but only had basic foam ear plugs. Management was also unhelpful in offering any sort of recompensation. If you’re booking on the weekend, hoping to get some sleep… think twice about staying here. Luggage storage is also not locked.

Cozy little bed pods in the dorm rooms! Good locker space and pod set up. The balcony has an amazing view. Great location. I was ignored by one staff member when trying to check in, which wasn’t very welcoming. The shower room wasn’t ideal (no good shelf, small) but it served its purpose.

Staff Bunk bed ladders are really uncomfortable. The thin metal rungs put a lot of pressure on the feet and can actually hurt, especially when climbing barefoot at night. A wider or flat step design would make a big difference.
-
Very nice place. I had a private room, so without knowing it’s a hostel, I’d think it’s a hotel. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the old town. Nice and supportive staff, highly recommended.

We booked 2 rooms. The first one is quite clean. The second one can be cleaner, its floor was dusty.

Stayed here for a quick overnight stay. For this, it was fully okay. Bunks had good privacy. Quick scheck-in, really good location. Hostel rooms feeled quite crammed, and even in mid-April it was hot in the room.
-
Great location, under construction so a bit noisy and some areas weren’t accessible but it looks like this work will be

24-hour reception made my early morning check-out super smooth. The hostel was perfect to explore the downtown Split area. N/a
-
My locker was on the top and it was so high up I couldn’t put my bag up there as I couldn’t reach and there was no way to get a lower one. The rooms are also bit squishy. The kitchen doesn’t have an oven or cooktop so you can’t even cook in there
-
Location was very central and I love that each bed has a curtain so there is privacy. Nothing

All good
