Split dream

The location was good, and facilities were clean. The management was not friendly about the accommodations. I asked if there was a kettle in the took to make hot water, he said no, I could try to use the coffee machine which was an espresso machine, and would take many shots to make a pot of tea. I did notice a kettle was on the reception desk which was only staffed from 7 to 3, but it was not offered to make hot water. I asked if there was 24 hour coffee in reception, svd he says yes. Then, after the first day, the coffee was no longer stocked beyond one or two pods, and on the third day, there was no coffee when I got up. It may be that I was being punished for not buying breakfast my second and third day when I assumed it was included, because it was included on the first day, The first day when we had breakfast the book was nice to us, but after we fight pay for breakfast when we assumed it was included in the fee, she was not to friendly, and again, was very stingy with the coffee. I had asked for a refrigerator or minibar in room because the room was advertised with minibar, but he said there was not one. He says I could use the fridge in the lobby but that was stuffed with breakfast fare. We also noticed surveillance cameras in the lobby and possibly in our room, because there was a flashing light facing the bed. Creepy! The room was small with memorabilia glass cases in odd places bear the bed and in the bathroom, and it was easy to bump into them. The tv was too low on the wall and in the way as well. Also, the bed was not comfortable.

Maybe the stairs .. very narrow and steep - could be a bit tricky for some people.

Amazing location! Very tight spiral staircase to get up to the rooms - a bit difficult with luggage!

We were particularly impressed by the breakfast, especially the homemade omelette that was freshly prepared for us — a delightful surprise we did not expect. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended! We hope to come back one day!

Clean and modern, super breakfast and pleasant front-desk personnel. Good location. All is good, just be prepared there is no elevator so better plan your luggage or ask to live big bags at the reception. It’s quite fresh in this period of time, so extra blankets would be great idea, but air-conditioning for heating also is in a working condition, so can warm it up.

Location was perfect!!! Off the beaten path from the main Riva which was great for noise and people wandering. Room was very clean and bathroom was newly updated. The room was small - but it would be perfect for a one or two night stay. The owner made a LOVELY homemade breakfast and was so so sweet. The ONLY thing I would make note of is the staircase to get to the rooms not on the main floor- if you have a very heavy suitcase be prepared…. And also if anyone had any sort of disability this would not be suitable. Otherwise it’s great

Amazing stay! Superior service as they allowed an early check-in. Incredibly comfy beds in a quiet neighborhood. The classy breakfast was a highlight. Modern bathroom fixtures. Ice cold air conditioning. Highly recommend! Nothing!

Good breakfast nice bathroom good bed. The maintenance and service staff were pleasant and helpful The hotel is very difficult to find. There is no sign or marquee, nothing to indicate that you are at the property. Bad protocol for reception of guests. No one was present at time of check-in. The person who took our call when we dialed the number shown in the instructions on the door was gruff and unpleasant . We never even saw that person until our departure a few days later. The worst feature about the hotel was the very narrow spiral staircase shoved into about 5 ft.² of the corner of the very space-compromised reception/breakfast room. To bring suitcases up that staircase is a challenge for the healthiest strongest individual. If your suitcase is at all large. It becomes next to impossible to do it . A person who is physically challenged would be unable to get up the staircase, never mind get luggage up there. Nothing in the description you’ll read about this place tells you that there’s a narrow steep spiral staircase. You have to use the spiral staircase to get to your room. There is no elevator.

We were on the bottom floor (there is one room per floor). It did mean the reception desk was just outside our room but we didnt have to get our luggage up the spiral stairs so if you have a big bag I would ask for the bottom room. It was a fantastic location so close to the old town and port. Very clean and stylish room.

A very cool vibe in a great little building. Away from the main old town area meaning it's nice and quiet all day round. The breakfast was great and had plenty on offer. They have some food items out all day for guests to grab on their way out to explore Split! The bed was comfy. The rooms are upstairs, only accessible via a very tight spiral staircase. We struggled quiet a bit to get the suitcases up there! Finding the B&B was a bit tricky, given the small streets and the slightly inaccurate google maps listing.

Perfect spot in Split that is on quiet street but close to all main attractions and restaurants! Beautifully decorated, comfortable, and very clean! Breakfast was amazing!
