Hotel Vandivort

Staff was friendly and helpful with parking and giving directions to our room and the amenities. The room was decorated nicely, with comfortable beds and lots of fluffy pillows. Having a record player and records was a fun touch as well as the sunset from the rooftop bar!

Everything about this hotel is just wonderful. If you are in Springfield, this is the place to stay.

Well located in downtown Springfield, with multiple restaurant options nearby (burgers, pizza, steakhouse). Large, comfortable rooms

The mattress was horrible. Like the worse I've ever slept on. My hands are small and I could grab the top and bottom of the mattress. The room and hotel was beautiful but the mattress felt like a slap in the face with how much the balcony layout room was. They need to change those mattress sets. I served in the military for 10 years and the mattress thats in the barracks are 10 times better. As two disabled veterans looking to relax, this really aggravated our our trip. We needed to place the pillows under us in order to have cushion under our bodies. Staff was great and helpful . I'm not sure if Id be back simply because of the fear of how the mattress may feel about the next mattress we have there.

Awesome room and location

Wonderful stay. The staff was incredibly helpful with setting the room up for my girlfriend’s birthday ahead of our arrival.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with great features, like the rooftop bar and observatory, restaurant, valet parking, and walking distance to everything.

The staff were very nice. The hotel is ok. The linens were not at the caliber of the hotel. The onsite restaurant did not have a good breakfast . Menu appeared with no prices and we were charged $54 for a prefab breakfast of croissants. Nothing was fresh. The neighborhood was walkable to other restaurants for dinner.

Hotel Vandivort is a must stay! The hotel was immaculate and a very trendy vibe. The record players in the room is a sweet touch. All of the hotel staff were very friendly, valet even helping you find free street parking since the free hotel parking lot is very small. The rooftop bar has great drinks and is a nice option for an afternoon/evening drink, but it’s definitely a hot spot for late night. We will defiantly stay at Hotel Vandivort the next time we are in Springfield.

Property was nice, but while in the room we found used needle on the floor in the bathroom. Not what i would expect for what we paid for our stay.

Staff was extremely friendly and we loved the explorer suite!

We were forced to stay closer to home (from St Louis) because of a surgery so we spent our 25th Anniversary in Springfield to get away. We loved the hotel. We walked around d the small downtown, went to Mother’s brewery and had an excellent dinner at Flame. Would highly recommend the hotel.
