Great location Room was very warm and stuffy Bed. Was too soft

Breakfast was fine. More à la carte offerings would be suggested. Excellent location.
-
The location was half a block from the 18th hole at St Andrew's Old Course! The staff was very accommodating when we arrived early in the day. They stored our baggage without any issues. Bed was soooo comfortable. There is nothing I did not like.
-
The location was ideal. The shower was generous and the breakfast was delicious. The room was exceptionally small. Very difficult to move around in.

Great location, delicious breakfast, stylish room Size of the room

This is a beautiful, quirky property. Our room was extremely well appointed, immaculately clean and even included a telescope to take in the views across the Old Course and West Sands. Location was excellent, staff were brilliant and we enjoyed a very tasty breakfast.

Location perfect, room lovely very clean and fresh. Nothing

The location is incredible, right near 1st hole at St. Andrews old course. Walking distance to everything. Our room had a great view. The room was small and offered a Queen Bed not a King.

Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Breakfast was great. Location was stellar. Stairs with lots of luggage was tough.
-
Small room, clunky three different code entry points, not clear where you would go with a question. Clearly the rooms are a secondary consideration to the Michelin restaurant.
-
Great location near sea and Old Course, very friendly and helpful staff, and beautifully appointed bedrooms above superb restaurant. I chose a small double, and it was rather tight for two.

Beautiful modern breakfast was top notch service amazing right location walk to everything The stairs a lot to walk up to room locks on doors annoying to get into prefer a card

The staff is 200 percent The stairs for travelers, golfers with luggage are not good at all. A traveler that’s older or with luggage is at a great disadvantage advantage the rooms are too small and at the very least would enjoy the news and television properly working. I will not be back nor recommend this property as a 5 star property. It’s easy to fall down the steps and dangerous. I’m very unhappy as the staff is small and unable to store luggage or golf bags as they do not open till past 6:30 am. The food is too expensive and the amount severed is too large to eat. I do not lie or exaggerate. It’s clearly a boutique hotel with an owner that’s way too greedy. In a very small hotel. Not happy with the amount charged. I’m well traveled and knowledgeable. One thing saves the hotel is the very exceptional staff

Her location was fantastic. The staff was excellent, all of them, but one. The breakfast was very good served by a very positive helpful staff. Room number one had a very good view from the window. The rooms were a bit tight. I was a bit surprised at how tight the room was but I do know that happens from time to time. There was six in our group and trying to have a drink in the lobby at dinner time was not good. We were given a 20 minute time limit to make room for dinner guests that were coming in with reservations. We decided to go elsewhere. We were very disappointed in the fact that we were guest at the Haar for two nights and apparently there was no room in the lobby for us to have a drink at the end of the day.

Delicious food

Awesome location great food.

Close to St Andrew’s Golf Course and beautiful views of the iconic beach make this a great place to stay. Very walkable part of the city. A nice bar and restaurant on the premises and other good spots to eat in the area are bonuses too. Our room was on the top floor, which we liked and the room was nicely appointed. It did get pretty warm though. Not a good situation for those with limited mobility or trouble with stairs.

The location was perfectly located near the St Andrews golf course and within walking distance to all of the town shopping. The breakfast was included and absolutely amazing! The food was so wonderful. The staff were so great and accommodating in every way. David, our server was so great during breakfast and gave us wonderful tips that were helpful for our trip. Rooms were small. No lift/ elevator

Room was a little small even for single person. More space to move around and chair for sitting and reading.
