Friendly welcome, spacious bedroom and ensuite. Very comfortable bed and the best pillows I have had in a hotel for a long time. Breakfast was cooked to order, a great choice beyond the usual full English, excellent service and great breakfast. The waiter gave exceptional service on my arrival and at breakfast. Would highly recommend. Secure code for car park which was perfect. Difficulty finding car park as it is located across the road opposite the hotel. My room was next to a vent so rather noisy but less so with the window closed.

The room was absolutely lovely, it was super clean and felt very homely and well thought out, there was everything I needed including an ironing board and iron, TV, hairdryer, kettle, huge bathroom, and I loved the decor. It was very welcoming when I arrived, with the fan already on and radio playing. The staff were very friendly. It was very close to both the train station and the town. There is a lovely bar area downstairs and you can get drinks and take them to your room if you wish. Had a really nice meal there too, food was hot and it was good. Would definitely recommend a stay here if you want to visit Eden Project although bus services are limited so realistically you need to get taxis there and back (about £15 each way). The staff were helpful with calling a taxi cab for us. On the first day there was no vegan/plant based breakfast on the menu and no vegan butter, so options very limited for me to cereal or dry toast however on the second day (after I commented on this) they did me a full vegan breakfast which was fab - so just a note to the venue really, I do recommend putting vegan breakfast on your menu and also putting the little oat milk packs in the room as well as the dairy milk :) to note, My Omni friend loved the breakfast option for meat eaters! Also, I think more could be made of the outside space at the back to make it a nice little beer garden!

What can I say..... From the first interaction with the staff, we knew it was exceptional. Staff were professional, polite, tentative. 5 star service. - especially the two males that was working that night. They couldn't have done anything more. (Only downside is we didn't take there names). I even saw them take other guests suitcases to their rooms. Food was excellent, presentation and value. Room - WOW... Was not expecting the quality, cleanliness and the size of the room. The facilities within the room was something you'd expect from a luxury 5 star hotel.. We will booking for a longer stay in the near future. 100% NOTHING
