Bankside Bed & Breakfast

No fresh fruit or yoghurt for breakfast. We asked and then we were given a banana and some yoghurt. The cereal packets were not a very good look. Would be better to have cereal in kilner jars. Cooked breakfast was the same every day and not particularly well cooked.

Our host provided a warm welcome and regularly checked we were comfortable. Both bedroom and en-suite bathroom were immaculately clean. Tea and coffee was kept well topped up. Breakfast was freshly cooked on order each morning and was ample and delicious. Parking is up a lane and was a bit tricky at first. Exiting the lane onto the main road is also a bit hairy!

Lovely host, fresh cooked to order breakfast, room had everything you need and a smart en-suite. Plus a lovely garden to sit in. Just a few minutes from train station.

Room comfy lee & family very friendly home from home ❤️ Wasn't keen on town it's self alot of homeless, drugs, and only Witherspoon's with a pub garden unless you drove

It is a lovely old house with a garden and our room was large and comfortable looking out over the garden. Li, our hostess, was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was OK but could have been more ambitious.

Ownner is a lovely welcoming and helpful person. Carpet in room needs replacing.

The owner was lovely, very friendly and helped with where to park our car at the rear of the property, went out of their way to accommodate a plant-based breakfast for us on each morning. Nothing really, the shower head in our bathroom would not stay up on the vertical bar, but I am sure that is easily addressed

Li was an excellent host, there was great communication before our stay and she was very hospitable and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.

Li, the host is absolutely wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast is delicious. Honestly, there was nothing I didn't like.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bankside. The facilities in the room provide everything needed for a comfortable experience. Li was the perfect host and couldn't do enough for us during our stay. The breakfasts were absolutely superb and kept away any hunger pangs for hours. It's very conveniently located for St Austell but equally well placed for other tourist hotspots if travelling by car. Spacious room with lovely views and good sized en suite. Property is well located in St Austell, easy walking distance to town centre for food, shops and attractions. Cooked breakfast and coffee were both excellent. Host Li was attentive and made my stay very pleasant. Would highly recommend this place.

Bank side was a perfect location to attend our pre booked events near St Austell The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious . The host and her family were very warm , friendly and welcoming .
