Comfort Suites St Charles - St Louis

For our one night stay in St. Charles, this was the perfect place. It was in a great location for what we wanted to do and the place was very clean.

Typical average hotel. Clean enough but could have had a little more attention to detail. Missing a faceplate on an electrical outlet, hook on bathroom door was broken, and picture frames hung haphazardly. It was nice to have the extra little living area space.

Room was clean breakfast was good, only complaint is the Interstate beside the motel sounds like a Nascar track, couldn't sleep very well. We stayed 3 nights in a large suite for work, was hoping the suites weren't directly beside the Interstate but ours was.

Room was clean and about average. The flooring was loose and popped when walked on though. I could hear people walking across the floor above us too.

We were given a non-smoking room that smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. There was liquid spilled on the floor outside the elevator for at least a few hours one morning. The side entrance door didn't work with our hotel keys. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was average.

Staff is very help with check in and other questions.

Unfortunately, the room itself had a serious issue. The A/C unit leaked continuously onto the floor, forcing us to use five towels to soak up the water. When we reported the problem, we were given only a few replacement towels, and no effort was made to repair the issue. By the next morning, those towels were soaked as well. When we returned to the front desk, we were handed trash bags and told to clean up the mess ourselves and bring the wet towels downstairs. We were also told maintenance had left for the day, but we immediately encountered the maintenance engineer in the hotel. We approached her directly, and despite a language barrier, she promptly came to our room, repaired the A/C, dried the floor, and cleaned up the water. She was the only employee who demonstrated professionalism and a genuine desire to help. While we did raise these concerns during our stay, we left feeling that our experience was not taken seriously.

For this being my first time stay at Comfort Suites, I enjoyed it. The front desk staff was friendly. The room was clean & comfortable. I was glad that

Front desk lady during check in was not friendly at all. She seemed hacked off to check us in despite our reservation. Average stay.

The rooms always clean. And I like they had a a dedicated person taking care of the Continental breakfast. Breakfast is too short

Friendly, clean rooms, quiet The pool was super hot walking in. The pool flooring was like loose gravel under you feet, scum on the pool walls and hair floating all over in the pool. It needed more than a cleaning

Clean room but they ran out of wash towels and I had to use a large bath towel to take a bath!!!

Great place to stay. Clean and nice. Great parking.
