I am super picky and I was pleased! Staff was great, room was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. I have zero complaints.

So first, poor choice of naming. Sun River Road and River Road hotel sites are two completely distinct buildings, at opposite ends of the St George valley area. Arrived at the Sun river Road location, and the hotel staff did not offer to research info different room could be had. They were nice, but what bothered me is that they said the hotel mix up happens. A lot. The staff at River Road location confirmed my reservation was there, and so we packed up and drove there. The Hampton Inn at River Road is older and feels run down unfortunately. The free breakfast is very basic. Rooms were clean but aged. Hallways were clean with clearly aged carpet. Elevators had dirty floors. People were using the pool; it looked clean. Immediately out the front lobby, is a terribly loud car wash. I don’t understand how that agreement was made to locate the two businesses so close like that. Although I generally like Hampton, I will not stay at this location again.

Traveling, room was more than expected. Clean and comfortable. Indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi outside jets not working. Not a big deal as just sitting in warm water was nice as outdoor temp 107. At night, barking dogs across hall. Dogs seemed to have settled down and got a good night sleep. Staff was awesome, breakfast was good. Restaurants in area were excellent.

Everything was good with the property, Our room was clean. Upon using a towel out of the cabinet, I noticed a really dirty wash rag in the back of the cabinet. I didn’t touch it. I hope they clean out. It wasn’t from us. Maybe the staff need to check those better. It was In room 206 on the right side of the cabinet. It’s still there because I’m not touching it.
