Very calm surroundings, perfect views, great hosts

The hosts were very friendly and very accommodating to my girlfriend’s dietary needs. The views of the sea were incredible from the front garden! There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

We had the best stay over the bank holiday weekend, the hosts were fantastic and super welcoming. Breakfast was delicious with a range of food and drinks available. Will definitely be coming back!

perfect breakfast , host were just the kindest people , we felt at home and relaxed shower a little dated and low pressure and this is just picking holes , it didn't cause us any issues

The hosts were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were very knowledgeable about the surroundings. The shower was so invigorating! We had a garden overlooking the back of the property. Hence there wasn't a view. Would have preferred a front of house view. But this is all they had left at the time of the booking so we had to take this room.

Second time of staying here and it didn't disappoint. Hosts were fab. So warm and welcoming. Great breakfasts too. Love this place. Nothing, it was all fantastic.

The hosts were amazing. Friendly and helpful, full of tips. I grew up in the area but staying at Borthalan House made the holiday extra special. The breakfasts every morning were perfect, the location was perfect and the cleanliness of the whole house was unbeatable. My partner and I couldn't have been happier and it added to a lovely weekend away. Will definitely book again if the opportunity arises! Absolutely nothing to dislike!

On arrival we received a hearty welcome from both Martin and Margaret. They showed us to our room which was at the top of the house, with sloping ceilings and an amazing view of Carbis Bay. The room was charming and spotlessly clean, it had a very comfy bed and lovely bed linen. There is plenty of choice for breakfast - which was cooked fresh to order - and delicious. The location was amazing - 5 mins down the local path to the beach and there was plenty of parking. Margaret and Martin were full of local knowledge and tips and did everything with a smile. We would return there again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely Beautiful property. We stayed on part of our road trip to Cornwall to visit my little sister, and the hosts made us feel very welcome. Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, amazing smell of fresh linen and towels as soon as we walked in the room, the view from our room was spectacular! Lovely electric blinds to frame the huge bay window overlooking Carbis Bay. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful.
