Central location, Pleasant staff The stairs up to our room were difficult with our heavy suitcase. But the staff was super helpful.

Good location and good beakfast
-
There is no AC. In summer that might be hard.

Location is great. No parking, but expected. Room was small. Heat made it uncomfortable at times; fan helped. Hotel has no A/C, expected for age and location. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Would stay there again. No A/C on hot nights, but could not expect A/C in this hotel.

Quiet good location to beach stores expensive parking average but breakfast was nice ? Stairs small room average expensive for Canadian

The location was very central and an easy walking distance from everything. The staff were very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We liked the little pub attached. Highly recommend this bed-and-breakfast. We liked everything! We were even able to take the bus up to the parking lot which was up quite a steep hill. So that was no problem either.

Location was great, and the single room was spacious. Delicious breakfast and friendly staff too!

Staff at hotel were exceptionally helpful. Also hotel is in a great location - with walking distance of the Tate St Ives. Shower was quite tiny.

Not a big deal but there was no chair in my room.

Extremely accommodating staff (let me check out at 12 after I surfed in the morning), delicious full English breakfast, comfortable bed, amazing location Nothing!

Very good breakfast with good variety of items for hot or cold breakfasts. We were given the very last room on the top floor. This is not an accessible hotel with lots of stairs to manage.

Great location. Grocery across the street and laundrette a few short blocks a way. Breakfast was really good. Bed was pretty comfortable. Wifi was the best of our trip (surprising for a value hotel). Cute pub attached, with live music one night. Distant view to the water in our room. The hotel is understaffed - you have to pick up a phone at reception to talk to anyone. They cleaned our room after the first night but didn't leave new towels, and all we had is one bath towel each plus one hand towel, so no bath mat, and the shower was microscopic and leaked a bit. This isn't the place to stay if you hate stairs, because once you get past the first set, there are others here and there (old hotel). The room could have used a sweeping before we arrived. Tiny nightstands, no place to open luggage.

It's in a decent location. The staff are very nice. They have live music events and there's a cosy basement pub-type bar. Worth noting that I had a wooden bed with a very firm mattress. For me that's good as it's what I like but many wouldn't like that. Everything is adequate and nothing is great or that bad. I guess St. Ives is expensive so you have to pay a lot even for a charmless, tired room in a tired hotel and it's hard not to feel you are overpaying for what you get. But it's OK. Nothing more. It does the job. Breakfast was OK but again not something you'd look forward to.

Clean and very nice food and staff

Great location. Old style b&b attached to a lovely pub. Great, helpful staff No dinner provided
-
A bit older buildings and rooms, for this price we expected something nicer
-
The rooms need a little updating but were clean.

Cozy rooms and good location, a few minutes walk from the beach.

Great location, it felt safe to get there and to check in. Breakfast was delightful. The room is a bit small and the street (and seagull) noise is a noisy at night, but it was still so charming.
