The bed was extremely comfortable and the location was close to our event we were attending. The bathroom was very clean. Parking was also readily available at a small cost

Parking behind. Good location Good location

Great location and easy to find, parking was well priced and accessible. Rom was spacious and tidy. Air conditioning wouldn't turn on, we had to open the windows all night with no flyscreens to cool down. Bathroom could have been a little cleaner.

The place is a run down mess. Most of the lights didn't work in the room. We were also told we only had 1 breakfast included, so we had to pay for a second breakfast. When would you ever book with 1 breakfast when there are 2 people staying???

The location was excellent, close to restaurants for a meal or a pub for a beer with friends.

Great location- short walk along the boulevard to the Palais etc. The happy hour Long Island Iced Teas were wonderful too :)

The location was excellent, close to the beach and restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the facilities were in good condition. The only negative aspect was an interaction with a female staff member on Saturday 27/12/26, approximately between 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm. During the payment process, our card was initially declined, and when we kindly asked if it could be tried again, the response lacked empathy. The $100 bond was successfully processed after another attempt without any issues. However, the attitude during the interaction remained somewhat tense, which made the experience less pleasant than expected.

Location was perfect Walking distance to lots of great restaurants and the beach Had difficulty adjusting the shower and one power point did not work

I had booked Saint Kilda Beach Hotel through Booking.com deals which I felt was reasonable for the purpose of attending RIMPA Live convention 2025 at Hotel Pullman Mercure Albert Park from October 27th to 30th October 2025. I arrived one day early. Even though the check in time was between 2:00 and 3:00 PM, my son and I were allowed to wait in the reception area and the check in time was preponed. The tram stop was very close to the hotel. There were a variety of eateries outside the hotel besides the cafe and a convenience store not far away from the hotel. So, it served my purpose well. The linen was not changed on the 2nd day as promised. The email communication regarding an extra bed stated a $60 on top of the $572. However, because the reception staff said it was $60 per day, which was not mentioned in the email, I cancelled the extra bed as a $240 added to the $572 +$100 minibar wouldn't be a good bargain. Despite obtaining the approval, I ended cancelling it which I did not like.

Location, albeit with the usual fentanyl crackheads up and down the street. Even considering Spring Carnival, Oasis, and the T20 cricket that was on, it was overpriced for the quality of the rooms. Communication with reception was difficult. Arrived at 3.30pm and the rooms were not ready, and the request for adjoining/interconnecting rooms was not initially provided. After highlighting that the adjoining room was for minors, the check-in staff were still not able to assist with adjoining rooms. We moved into the one room that was ready, and on speaking with the cleaning staff about the adjacent room being ready, I went back down to reception and asked about this specific room, which we were able to use. confused as to why this wasn't initially offered. Rooms are tired and dirty in areas.
-
The double bed was just two single beds and mattresses pushed together which made the bed very uncomfortable. There was no hot water for a shower in the morning. Car park access was not ideal, having to leave the car to request for the gate to be opened, especially in the rain.
-
The mattress on the bed was awful. It sagged in the middle so we both had a terrible nights sleep. Also there are works happening next door and they started grinding at 7am.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Stay at St Kilda Beach Hotel The hotel is in a great location — close to everything we wanted to see and do. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. A really convenient and pleasant place to stay in St Kilda!

We loved the location - close to the beach, the esplanade, The Palasis, The Espy and Scrollies! It was cheaper than competitors. The service. All staff we encountered were great - Thank you The Cafe adjoined was great for breaky. Thanks to those staff also. Trams in front of hotel for ease of travelling outside of St Kilda. Onsite parking was convienient and safe. Loved the doors being secured. Felt very safe. Needs a revamp - Rooms are very dated. Carpet is worn bare in places, Cracked tiles in bathroom, around spa and basin is cracked. Fan in bathroom isn't very effective - Fan cover ontop of shower need a clean ASAP. Shower grout needs a scrub. Very poor water pressure in bath, so to have a spa you wait for a long time for bath to fill and it isn't very hot. Used kettle to top up which was a shame as we asked for a spa room but only used it once. It took too long.

Dirty tissue found behind the bedside cabinet. Half a bottle of coke in the fridge.
