Close to tram, shops, food, short walk to Acland Street, beach, Palais Theatre, Luna Park, art work displays in the hotel was nice, Phillip, front desk was very nice. I was unaware of the room I chose, Piccalo, it was the size of a small standard bathroom. Small bed against the wall, tiny bathroom, super tiny area over all. No view, small heater, small windows, dog box. I was shocked! I spoke with the staff and was upgraded free to a more reasonable size room. The original booking showed the bigger green room, not the small red room. Both showing better looking than they actually were. 2nd room - toaster dirty, bathroom rails on the floor, kitchen bench area sticky, No Lamps! TV only worked in ch7 & ABC, rest were HD but I couldn't get them working. Fire alarm in next room went off at 3.34am with naked person smoking dope, vaping, door open. Staff had to attend, man yelling. Horrible sleep. Not sure I will stay again.

The reception team was very friendly. The room wasn't clean, the bedding looked dirty, and the floor was filthy. The facilities were very old. Honestly, the room wasn't pleasant.

Location was excellent. Right on tram line to the city and Flinders St station V small basic room. Looked dated. Carpet not good around the edges

The location was perfect There were two old ladies when I showed up in the lobby with my children. We were waiting for the clerk. My daughter had her feet on the coffee table resting her legs from walking and this old lady repeatedly had a go at my children over the two days stay. I found it really terrible and a place not to take children.

The staff were very welcoming. The location was perfect for what we needed . The room.was clean and the bed linen and towels were fresh and nice The room.we stayed it was very tierd and very run down . There was only 1 cup and it was espresso size so couldnt have made a cup of tea if I wanted to .there were two of us staying there so that wasnt great . The room served a purpose for a gig we went to .

The location is very convinient The facility is very poorly maintained. Carpets are ripped , walls have cracks , window frames need new paint. Artworks are not suitable for family stay . Who came up with the idea of srxual content in artworks for family suite ? Internet connection is awful. It is slow and dies after 10 minutes of use.

It's cheap and convenient I've been staying there for years and it just gets shabbier and shabbier - it desperately needs painting and in my room there was a frame for a TV on the wall that hadn't been removed - presumable because they didn't want to paint.

the shower service was extremely slippery, I on one occasion nearly fell while trying to exit the shower. the toilet potion was very poor
