Curtains around the bed! Clean. Still accepts older travelers. As for Melbourne, very close access for trams. Still using metal keys, kitchen not available in the middle of the night.

Good location Horrible staff, there were mice running around, no control at night so I had people screaming till 3am
-
Room mates are so noisy and they made the floor messy.

The property is super close to everything living in ST KILDA close to the beach is awesome and the staff are wonderful!

It’s close to a nice park and beach. Nice neighborhood. No AC unfortunately, when it’s hot it’s pretty bad but the weather temperature change constantly from hot to cold.

Great staff, facilities, cleanliness, location - all really good! There’s a bar downstairs with live music and an outdoor patio - this is a positive bonus if you’re young and want to socialize! But I’m 55 and just want to chill out in quiet fairly early in the evening. I would definitely recommend this place to friend’s adult kids though! The bar downstairs was only a negative for quiet introverted types like me. It’s a positive for young extroverts :)

Everybody is really nice and friendly and easy to talk to and are my kind of people and seem like a lot of fun and the type of people I want to connect with when I go over to their countries so I know more people before I get there Not much if the smoking area was open longer and there was a bit more room in the fridges then it would be perfect but I’m not complaining I managed fine

Cleanliness and friendliness of staff
-
very clean toilets and comfy mattress
-
Rooms were nice with nice curtains and lamp. You could also lock your stuff in a crate under the beds. Not social at all. Very loud and not many seating options.

Don’t have a lift. For me, a girl, found it hard to bring my luggages up then down

Some of the guests will be noisy till late in the night, but that's the hostel life ?♀️?

Very good
-
Well stocked kitchen facilities and helpful staff The walls are thin so noise travels easily. Quiet hours are not enforced or policed by staff so guests are often in the common areas until late at night making a lot of noise

Hostel in great location, staff always appear to be cleaning, busy hostel with a very busy kitchen that I couldn't actually find room to store food in the fridge. Unfortunately food went missing and people move your stuff (in kitchen), that said it's a big space to do what you need and get out. Bathrooms were fine, able to use shower when I needed.
