Great hotel!

The hotel was clean. The staff was pleasant. There isn’t much to do around the hotel. The area is a bit rundown.

One of the adjacent rooms was smoking so much weed it seeped into my room and made me ill

When entering the room I quickly discovered that the room was filthy. There was toothpaste (?) left on the mirror in the bathroom, the mirror on the bathroom door was dirty and had water marks all over the mirror, there was hair and some black fuzz all over the bathroom. The tissue holder, nightstand, and dresser were very dusty and looked as if it had not been cleaned in quite awhile. The toilet made a very annoying sound all night. The shampoo bottle was not empty but no product came out of the bottle. The top of the lotion had a residue on it appearing as if it had been previously used. I have pictures available of the condition of the room.

Just ok , I would expect more from Marriott

Be aware, parking is $40 per day in a garage not owned by the hotel. Also there is no free breakfast or wifi which is a bit ridiculous. Good central location though and very clean and nice stay.

We have always stayed at Marriott’s. One of our favorite hotels is in Denver downtown. Unfortunately, this was the first time we have not liked staying at a Marriott. The room was dirty. After the first night I pulled up the bottom corner of the sheets and they had some weird nastiness on them. I thought house keeping would have came in and switching them out when they came to clean. No one ended up coming in and cleaning our room. We thought ok maybe the next day. But nope, we started to run out of toilet paper and towels. We called the front desk for them to please come clean our room and that we were out of these things. When we got back to the room later that night they didn’t clean the room all they did was pick up the towels from the floor and put them back up. They did give us toilet paper. Yay. They still did not switch out the bedding. On the 5th day they finally cleaned the whole room. On the 7th and last day we were packing getting ready to leave at 10:20 and someone from house keeping came in the room. I thought check out was 11, so I was confused as to why they didn’t know what time check out was. My husband and I were so bummed with this hotel. We paid waaaaaaay too much to have a hotel this poorly run. We will never come to St. Louis or this hotel again. So dissappinting.

Loud bass music playing all night from event space on top floor. Made it feel like it was coming from the room right next door and didn’t stop til 11 pm. Breakfast for the cost was not great.

Passable

The stay was great, nice downtown location. Had a small issue with Valet and lines were long, but it was also a busy Saturday afternoon.
-
The rooms were not the cleanest. Staff at night hanging outside of the hotel smoking.
-
Easy access to parking garage check in was quick too despite the long line

No tuvimos wi fi, nos quisieron cobrar por internet. El desayuno bastante mediocre y las alarmas de incendio funcionaron 2 veces en medio de la noche. Ambas falsa alarma y tuvimos que bajar al lobby. Un desastre.

There were five staff standing behind the customer service desk talking while my friend and I were waiting for five minutes for a bellhop to come so they could hold our luggage. It was the classic ‘not my job’. A woman who was not behind the front desk nor bellhop finally came and helped us out.
