Nice and clean

Very tight rooms. Fridge door couldn't open all the way because of tightness of space. Coffee Maker was broken. Towel hook on bathroom door kept falling off. No parking except for Valet, which had no discount.

Beautiful river views. Luxurious rooms.Amazing helpful staff. Parking is not the greatest.

My room was clean. I loved the bathroom. The bed was so comfortable. The AC worked the whole time and never shut off, which was wonderful. The only complaint I would have are the doors to the closet which were very old and didn’t work very well. Otherwise it was a really great stay and that plush blue chair in the lobby is amazingly comfortable.

1. The room had trash on the floor. 2. The window sills, chairs, cabinets, chairs, and other furniture pieces had dust on them. 3. The room had a faulty fire alarm or a battery which needed replacement. The fire alarm beeped the entire night. It was impossible to sleep and rest during the night. 4. I called the front between 9pm and 10 pm. Nobody was available to take my call. 5. The room had no small refrigerator which is standard even in small motels 6. The hotel does not have parking. 7. The hotel does not provide any breakfast. It is not included in the price of stay.

The bed was worn down. The mattress needs to be flipped or something because there was a definite lean from the middle to the left edge due to the amount of use.

It was not disclosed nor does Expedia disclose that there is a $40 a night parking charge for your vehicle. There is so much construction going on in the area, I would avoid this area altogether for at least a year, 6/2026 weeks were there. All the roads were completely torn up and it was a big mess. We did not stay in the hotel because we were not told of the vehicle parking fee. And only valet parking was available. You could not park your own vehicle. Furthermore, we rented a vehicle therefore we could not allow them to drive our vehicle so we went to another hotel which was actually cheaper. I would avoid this hotel although. However, it seemed as if it would’ve been a great place to stay.

At checkout I explained this respectfully, but the manager was awkward and dismissive with no real resolution offered. The valet service also did not meet expectations. While the property itself has potential, the handling of the room issue and overall service fell short. I believe a refund or compensation is appropriate since we were never provided a true upgrade or proper resolution.

Nice lobby but the room was small and the bathroom fan didn’t work.

They said there was free parking a block away but not

We had many small issues with the hotel: We booked an accessible river view room and upon checking in were informed that because we have a pet, we had to stay on the 3rd or 4th floor. There were apparently no river view rooms on those floors, and the staff insisted that we were getting the same room type we booked, which may have technically been true, but didn’t account for the view (higher price). When we went into that room, the bathtub had dirt and sand ALL over it. I went to the front desk to ask if they could clean it or switch our room. They switched us and upgraded the room, which was really nice of them. I appreciated that. The new room was still dirty here and there. There were stained spots on the bed sheets/pillows and the towels were threadbare. I don’t think I would choose to stay here again. The room we ended up in was very nice and had a good view, and that made up for the issues this time, but I wouldn’t want to risk having all these issues again a second time.

Zane and everyone at guests' services are knowledgeable and strive to alleviate any problem with a smile. Being so close to Union Station is a huge plus also.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay again.

Great location, great views, easy access to transportation. 5 minute walk to Amtrak train to Chicago or bus to airport. Kid had fun renting a scooter to ride around downtown and the river park right in front. Took the 54 bus for a 35 minute direct trip to the mall of América. Don't stay at the mall of América hotels with parking lot views when you can easily access a nice city hotel like this using public transport.

The room was nice, clean and had everything i needed, except for tea. That i had to pay an extra deposit up front when I had already spent over £600 for the stay,

Pleasant staff, great location.. Tired hotel, that has seen better days. Not worthy of the Intercontinental brand
