The Saint Paul Hotel

Each time I stay at the Saint Paul hotel, it exceeds my expectations. Thanks!

This is an excellent hotel for cleanliness, friendly staff, and extremely well-appointed rooms. It’s going to be our go-to whenever we go to the Cities for a special night away!

Top notch from valet to bartender to waitstaff, all helpful and very pleasant. We were staying for Dirty Dancing and took advantage of the bar, grill and rooms. Hope to return again sometime.

Great place in middle downtown. Nice service and I would return there anytime.

In the hotel room, th carpet is worn out and the bathroom was old with a tub with an old lady shower curtain. The room was very small and it was an odd shaped room. I was next to the elevator and the one window in my room had a noisy compressor or something making noise. It was not a quiet room. I had dinner at the restaurant and a couple of breakfast meals. They meals were good and the servers were very nice.

The guy working in the coffee shop was amazing! Friendly, professional, and effectively upselling add ons in a non pushy way.

Would’ve liked having the lobby bar open on a Wednesday evening.

Our room was clean and smelled fresh. We couldn’t open a window for fresh air. Super outdated bathroom.

I had a great stay, room service was great. The location was perfect for my work trip. But I had a leak, I’m guessing from the AC unit in the corner of my room. Same corner where I set down my luggage and it got wet :( I brought it up to the front seat when I checked out and all he said was “thanks for letting me know”. Just kinda felt brushed off about that but everything else was perfect.

Nice hotel in a good location. The room was clean and refreshed daily. The room service was good and the staff were all friendly. The coffee bar in the morning was especially nice. No street noise at night and the valet parking was easy.

I would stay here again. The staff is why I would come back. They need to clean up the dust a bit and give it a facelift.

Dated but that’s the charm of this historic place!
