Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast and restaurant meals very high quality. Tremendous views across the harbour. Could have done with air conditioning (only some rooms have it). It was a heatwave.

The location had great views of the marina. bathrooms extremely outdated. We had to go downhill and uphill to get to hotel and walk to shops and restaurants so make sure to wear comfy shoes .

I absolutely loved my room with its large deck overlooking the city and harbor! It was also very nice to enjoy the breeze up there on a hot day. The staff were all very kind and attentive. The breakfast was delicious. I would most definitely stay at La Fregate again ! I only had two small issues -- 1. The wifi was unreliable, but the concierge let me use her phone as a hotspot for my online meeting (very kind); and 2. The heat valve on the towel rack was broken, so there was no way to shut off the heat in the bathroom. It was very hot in there, but neither issue would prevent me from staying there again. It is a wonderful hotel with lots of charm!

Location was great, food was fabulous, staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough. The room were exceptional. The beds weren’t very comfortable but the staff did their best to accommodate us by providing extra duvets.

I loved this little gem of a hotel nestled perfectly up the hill, with cracking views. The restaurant there always exceeds my expectations, both in terms of food and service.
