The Amsterdam is a very nice, no-frills option when you want to stay in the Stamford area. You won't find a better price. The property is dated, but it has what you need for a short stay, including a complimentary continental breakfast. Room was comfortable and quiet.

Very very outdated bedspread and blankets etc, bed and pillows were not comfy. The air conditioner was so loud I had such a hard time sleeping. Walls were kinda cracking. It just felt very old. The woman at the front desk though was the sweetest, friendliest woman. She was so lovely and helpful. I would give the front desk woman a 10 - I wish I knew her name. The hotel itself was fine for one night but it needs improvements

We arrived from NYC after midnight. the staff was helpful and friendly. Check-in (had a reservation) was quick and painless. Room was spacious. Got the best night's sleep I've had in months.

A little long in the tooth, but all of the essentials are there for the price, so I am OK with that.

This is aa convenient place to stay. All is well except the coffee, which is terrible.

Everything was good except for the coffee. A machine that uses K Cups ( which I would bring my own) would be a huge improvement

The staff is very good. The room was cleaned everyday. The housekeeping staff is great. The food offering is fair. The coffee is horrible. I suggest they put machines that I can use my own K Cups, which I am happy to bring with me for a good cup of coffee.

It's a very old property. The bed was very comfy, the rooms were big. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was adequate. I'd stay here again for sure
