Beautiful old property with tons of history No elevator. This is expected with the history of the property
-
location was wonderful, Room was adorable and super comfortable.

The Inn was charming, cozy and welcoming. The staff (especially Richard, Emilia and Josh) made us feel like family We had a cozy room. It needed a few more hooks and racks to hang things. Especially the bathroom.
-
Excellent accommodations, room was perfect, dinner exceptional Nothing

Wonderful historic inn at the heart of Stow on the Wold. The staff was exceptionally diligent and helpful. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious. Highly recommend the inn and restaurant but make sure you book a table at least a few days in advance.

Excellent location, lovely staff, gorgeous property Room.and bath were terribly tiny and the only window opened directly on the trash bin.

The property is beautiful, it has lots of history and is very popular. It was very clean and the room was beautiful, it included toiletries, towels, an iron and a hair dryer. The room is equipped with a coffee machine, tea, coffee and fresh cookies. Our bed was made up on the second day with fresh towels which was also a nice touch. The location is perfect, it is in central stow with lots of shops, restaurants and pubs but also only a short drive away from Bourton on the water which we also thoroughly enjoyed.

The most amazing room! We were in room 9 and it was amazing. The whole pub was awesome and dinner was sublime. 10/10 Absolutely nothing!

Location, accommodate, dinner and breakfast were great

Everyone was friendly and it was very welcoming and warm. Needed to ask for a fan as windows don’t open well enough in bedrooms.
-
Steeped in History. Great food, wonderful staff, comfortable room! Loved the chocolate chip cookie! Parking is impossible!

If you're looking to go out and have fun at night, the area is a bit quiet — not much to do and most places close by 10 PM. Still, it's a beautiful and charming place!
-
Location good but parking difficult as they only have 3 spaces Service was not great - many issues Rooms average for the price Food very average for prices charged
-
Room was comfortable and cosy Shower was broken!!! Could not shower during the stay. Unacceptable for a place that describes itself as luxury accommodation

Beautiful building, great location to be within the town and bed was comfy. Super hot couple of days in this very small room with no aircon or fans (I did ask if they had any fans) meant no air in the room which was very stuffy. The room’s location at the front of the hotel with necessary windows open onto a constantly busy through-road also meant it was really loud when trying to sleep. No mini fridge to keep the waters left in the room cool either which would’ve been nice for a 5 star. Staff weren’t present at both arrival and departure, very hard to find someone!
-
Beautiful character filled pub/hotel in great location. Lovely touches like homemade cookies and a coffee machine in the room. The shower leaked but also couldn’t be switched on without water going everywhere and the main blind was broken.
-
Beautiful looking property with nice decor. The manager is poor (passive aggressive, everything is an immediate “no”, eye rolling etc). Think a female Basil Fawlty!

The staff where lovely The main toilet was broken the whole of Easter stay and urinals where disgusting, for the cost of the stay and with the breakfast below average I would not recommend to stay.
