Fascinating very old and characterful building Very friendly helpful staff Great location View of the square from my room Very good quality breakfast Parking on site Very comfortable room Loads of hot water Nothing But worth mentioning as others have that the stairs up to the second floor floor are exceptionally steep and would not suit anyone elderly or with any physical issues

Amazing old inn - felt like we stepped back in time. Both outside and inside retained the old time feel! Full English breakfast was great! Tv would not get all channels - staff attempted to help but without success and said they would get someone in to fix - we survived

Excellent location. Lovely breakfast. Good value for money. Although the details mentioned a lot of steps the last flight were very steep and narrow which was difficult to climb with a suitcase. However once up the stairs the room was perfect with a prime view of the square.

I liked the ambience, the style, the history. The age and character were cool, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Loved the location and town, beautiful shops and church. Breakfast was a little over cooked each morning. The beds were not comfortable . The actual bed and the mattress, waking each day to stiff back and necks.

Everything about the over night stay with breakfast was excellent.We also ate at night in the restaurant and again service and food met our expectations. Nothing could have been bettered

Location perfect, good food and a brilliant breakfast We where in the room right at the top of the building which the access was up a step ladder very small doorway .

Good central location and pleasant clean room. Breakfast was adequate and freshly prepared. Food in bar restaurant was bland. Staff made no comment when advised that food was flavour less.

Family with 2year old put on top floor very steep steps . Not a good idea at all Breakfast was average wide variety but lacked quality stairs too steep Some of the renovation is not in keeping with age and character or building

Location in Stow is excellent. Great to stay in such a historic building. Was hot in summer.
