From arribal, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The property is stunning and in a lovely location. The waitress service and quality of the meals we had there were exceptional. N/A

Lovely property in a great position, staff were great Bit dated, no real choice for breakfast and a bit pricey but you are paying for the location

Loved the room - spacious and comfortable - and the central location. Our room overlooked the beautiful doorway to St Edward’s Church. Staff seemed run off their feet at times, especially at breakfast. A good breakfast though, if you didn’t mind a bit of a wait. Take ear plugs if the church bells striking the hour are going to disrupt your sleep!

Very well located as a base for the Cotswolds and central in Stow on the Wold. Excellent breakfast. Dated and tired. Needs a refurbishment and customer service could be more welcoming.
-
Everything especially the location and the grandeur if the property and the excellent service and wonderful breakfast. Nothing

I liked the location Staff at breakfast were lovely but they were so understaffed- 1 to take orders, 1 to clear up tables and 1 to bring out the orders - I had to wait 40 mins for 1 poached egg and a portion of beans - I had to request fresh toast and tea and by the time they came out I had eaten my egg and beans

Breakfast staff were amazing under pressure The measly small shower head in room 25.

Great location The evening meal was slow and average. The breakfast was a disaster. Very Slow. When it finally arrived my Full English was covered in vinegar water from the poached eggs. I complained and they took away the vinegary eggs. I mopped the rest of the vinegar water on my plate up myself with a napkin and ate the remaining food as I wanted to eat something as Id waited long enough. Eventually the eggs came back and were ok. But the balance of the meal was all wrong as a result. Eating late eggs on their own is just not right. To cap it off this is an expensive hotel. We were touring the Cotswolds and had stayed in 3 other cheaper hotels on previous nights. All of which were better than this one. I think you get the picture. We won’t be coming to stay again.

Easy access to square. Nothing.

Prior notice of car park position and access! Sat Nav drops you at the front of the hotel which is the pedestrian entrance situated off a very busy and crowded area and public parking area! A simple sketch map would suffice!
