The staff was very nice and the rooms were spotlessly clean. Despite the fact that the hotel is located on the outskirts of the city (just a minute away from the off ramp of the highway), the center is accessible on foot in about 15 to 20 minutes. We didn't use the parking garage (in another building nearby, for a 20 Eur fee), but street parking is readily available and free from 7 pm to 9 am. Overall, the hotel is old and in need of renovations. Everything looks more shabby in reality vs the pictures. Even the front facing windows are old, with peeling paint. The overall decor is super outdated and bordering on kitchy. The elevators are the smallest I ever experienced in a hotel, fitting no more than two people with luggage. The AC works, but it is somewhat noisy. Turning off the AC and opening a window is not an option either (in the courtyard facing rooms), because of the noise from the central AC units located outside, which are even noisier. There is not much going on in the immediate neighborhood, but since the city is so small, it is not a significant issue. I would have been more generous with the rating if they didn't advertise themselves as a 4 star hotel.

Good breakfast, accessibility to pour free sparkling water, comfortable bed. The location is beautiful also. Staff were very polite. Sauna was great. Dinner is quietly expensive, and you don't have much choice. There is no refrigerator either. Had to find the restaurants around. The A/C is probably not cleaned.

Location

Hotel is not too far from the station, and is in a nice locality. Rooms, service, staff, were all good. Rooms were nicely themed. Access to food, groceries, bus, cafe, meds etc is very easy. Peak AC wasn't sufficient, even though it was an unusually warm day. The only Drinking water fountain was in the lobby. Many amenities were available but never declared clearly; one needs to go through the website to understand.

Nice hotel, Clean room and hospitable employees The air conditioning was not working in the rooms throughout the entire week of my stay. Unfortunately, Strasbourg was experiencing very hot weather during that period, which made the situation particularly uncomfortable. The staff were aware of the issue, yet guests were not informed in advance. This lack of communication was extremely frustrating and significantly affected my overall experience.

The breakfast was good and the location easy to find. We paid to park about lunchtime and returned after dinner to check in. At 8pm the room hadn’t cooled. At that time the front desk said the AC hadn’t worked all day and no one was coming to fix it. They gave us a fan. We opened the windows but the lights on the front of the building lit up our room like a purple disco all night. So it was hot and bright. Two of the worst things for sleep. If they’d have shared at lunch or check in we could have found another hotel. The parking lot is like going into a dirty Batman cave. Doesn’t feel safe and our large sedan felt too big to park. And you pay for the privilege. Also the shower head is weird. Why is it in the corner?

The staff was professional, friendly, and very welcoming. The room was quiet, and both the bedroom and bathroom were spotless and well maintained. The breakfast was nicely presented, though the selection of savory options was quite limited. The elevator was very small making it difficult to use even for one person with a suitcase.

Excellent experience. To my pleasant surprise, I was upgraded to a Superior room upon arrival. The staff were welcoming and professional, the room was comfortable and well-maintained, and the overall stay exceeded my expectations. I truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture and would gladly stay here again.
