a fantastic place with loads of character. The bar has a really cool atmosphere, and the food in the downstairs bistro is excellent. The rooms are clean and have a wonderfully original style, while the bathrooms are beautifully fitted out and spotless. Every member of staff was warm and friendly; from reception and bar staff to the people handling cleaning and maintenance. A great place to stay. I'll be back A coat hook in the room would be a great addition.

Location to train station and eateries, staff were excellent, despite proximity to train station there was very little noise in the room. Room was well fitted, shared amenities were close to rooms. Easy check in. I had a pizza from the bistro and it was woeful. I would go so far as to say it was a cheap store-bought pizza they heated up. I ate 2 slices and gave up.

Opposite Strathfield train station and bus stop is so convenient. Pub style bedroom comfortable warm bed, which was good because the aircon heating did not work. Bathroom recently renovated and well finished. Great bistro featuring wonderful Nepalese food. Good value stay. The heating might have been better.
