Nothing The room had a strong unpleasant smell throughout my stay. It was so bad that I had to use my own body spray every day just to make the room bearable. This is not the standard guests expect when paying for accommodation. The hotel should also be honest about its breakfast offering. Advertising “free breakfast” is misleading when only basic bread is provided and other breakfast items come with additional charges. Clear and transparent communication is important for customers. Finally, customer service needs significant improvement. A smile and a welcoming attitude go a long way in hospitality. Guests stay at hotels to relax and enjoy their experience, not to feel unwelcome or as though they are inconveniencing the staff. Management should address the room condition, improve transparency regarding breakfast, and provide better customer service training to staff. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

It was in great location, free underground parking, there was an elevator, free breakfast and coffee. The bed was comfortable. The room was fairly clean with one exception to the bath tub. It’s way over priced for what they offer. For a $200 hotel it should be exceptional and have facilities like a pool and exercise room which this did not have. It also didn’t have a separate shower. The shower was part of the bath tub. We also found some hair in the tub from the previous visitors.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming during my stay. The reception staff were great, and helped me when I had an issue with my room during my second night there. The location was great. It was about a 7 minute walk to chinatown, and a 10-14 minute walk to the train station. Mind you, there are also bus stops around to cut those walking times significantly. It was easy to access the facility and gain access to my room. The cleanliness was quite poor. I found stains on the bed sheets, floors, walls, etc. There was a significant drain fly problem with my first room - the bathroom were filled with them ( I did get moved to a different room after speaking to reception). There was also one day where I was getting ready and someone (believe it was the cleaning staff) entered my room without knocking ( she thought no one was there). I'm glad she knocked the second time she was about to enter. The walls were also very thin. I could hear my neighbours clearly.

The staff were friendly and professional I had a very uncomfortable experience at this property. There were roaches and other bugs throughout the space, including inside my room. The environment was noisy, and the overall atmosphere felt unsafe and unsettling. During the night, I was awakened by a loud altercation between a couple, which was distressing. There were also individuals around the property who appeared intoxicated or under the influence. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this accommodation — especially for solo female travelers.

Location is great. Wow, where do I start? First room I had there was water damage in the room with fuzzy patches that looked like mould, the floor was dirty and the toilet had dried wee on it. Gross. I decided to report to the desk to see if a cleaner room was available. The man on was very helpful and apologetic and gave me another room. When I went to inspect the room, first thing I see is a roach on the floor, I tried to squish it but it was too fast. I thought it was the only one but boy was I wrong, there was many scurrying around in this room so I went back and said I'd rather keep my original room. Better a dirty room than roaches scurrying over me in the night so they gave me another room. This one looked good so I accepted and moved in to settle for the night, this was all between 9-10pm after a long day. I heard some rustling in the night but heard nothing more. In the morning though on the floor was a big, fat cockroach roaming on the floor. Such a disappointing stay.

The courtesy bus was not available like it was advertised in the room booklet which was a bit disappointing.

The wifi was slow and kept disconnecting, the shower had insufficient hot water pressure.

The Staff were friendly, bed was comfortable and kitchen had both microwave and cooktop for cooking, making it convenient to prepare our own meals. The accommodation was close to ammenities. The continental breakfast was nice. The room had a nice patio off the bedroom and lovely courtyard leading to the room. The room was very noisy at night. It faced Liverpool road, and road noise and aeroplane noise was loud most of the night. The second night of our stay we ended up pushing the bed to the opposite side of the room to try and muffle the road noise coming from the front door, and also placed pillows along the sides of the front door. The bathroom did not have bright lighting and was a wheelchair purpose built bathroom making it not very comfortable for us, with the toilet being higher than normal and the shower area very exposed and cold. A/C unit remote was working intermittantly making it difficult to turn on and off. The internet was also intermittent.
