The main pool in Svoboda hotel that is included in room price is relatively small and shallow. Yes, you can swim, but also you can stand or walk in the pool. So there are many people in the pool standing/walking and there is not much space to swim.

Rooms really need refurbishing. The doors of the rooms don't close properly, so everytime you open the window the doors bang because of the draft.

Beautiful location, excellent breakfast, very comfortable bed, excellent lighting - most places are too dark, but there were plenty of light switches so you could have mood lighting, or see properly. Having access to the nearby spa was great. It's nice that it is not a big hotel block, but several small hotel buildings set in greenery. Whilst it would be fine for most people, I struggled with the steps to get to our room and the walk to reach the spa at the associated hotel due to osteoarthritis. 10 years ago, it wouldn't have been a problem for me. I'd just advise anyone with mobility problems to consider this.

Breakfast, which was served in a different hotel, was good. Everything was dirty, covered in dust, the shower was moldy. When I stepped in the room in my socks, they turned grey from the dirt. Therme KRKA / SPA is in a different hotel, you will need to walk. They don't give you towels, slippers or bathrobes. The administrator lady didn't want to give us proper directions how to get to the thermal pools. The hotel experience was overall very poor.

I like the place itself - very green Situated on the hill and no elevators to your floor. All suitcases you should carry to the hill first and then in the building to you floor. Breakfast was good. Also there were reconstruction works in the area with noisy sounds

Good for quite vacation. Easy to get there by bus and then there is gratis bus going directly to the beach and the hotel. Breakfast was very good. Dinner in the neighborhood hotel not so much. Be prepared to climb many stairs. There is a small pool in the hotel, which is good for kids. There are construction works in one of the hotel buildings. But they should be over soon. Room was a bit outdated. Very small frig. Shower should be re-planned. Because you can barely close the door, if you use a toilet..
