Everything about this little hotel is lovely. There is private parking on the premises. The hotel is simply furnished which I prefer as you can see instantly how clean and fresh it is. The room was spacious, the beds very comfy and the bathroom spotless and bright with good fittings and a huge shower. We didn't book a balcony but we were given one with a bench on which to sit and admire the fabulous views. The location looks down towards a little beach town which was bustling with visitors. The town itself on the hill was lovely to wander round with lots of independent shops for browsing. Lots of bars and coffee shops. There was no noise at all at night and we had the best sleep. The hotel has no restaurant but there are plenty options off site. The breakfast was simple but nicely presented. They provided a slab of cake and bread roll but you could make toast and there was plenty butter, jam and honey and lots of tea, coffee, juice and infusions. We didn't fancy cake for breakfast and I was going to take it for later when the waitress appeared with sandwich bags and ties for that very purpose! I felt that was really thoughtful, especially as it was delicious on the ferry with a brew. I would think some people would moan at the lack of facilities but this simple hotel more than adequately caters for the traveller. Incidentally, it is only 20 minutes to Santander ferry. I will definitely use this again. There was nothing to dislike.

Good location 10 minutes walk downhill to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants. 5 minutes walk uphill to town centre. Recently fully refurbished and everything appears to be brand new and immaculatey clean. Staff were very helpful and upgraded our room as the hotel was quiet. The room had a big balcony with a bench seat and sea view. Bathroom was great with the best shower ever. Safe secure garage parking for our motorcycles.
