avid hotel Summerville by IHG

The facility is fairly new and well maintained. It is a more modern design in the fixtures and the color scheme which we found very enjoyable. The room was clean and well appointed with towels and bath supplies. The beds were very comfortable. There is a free breakfast included and the selections were very good and was always stocked with fresh items. We enjoyed their hospitality for 5 days and were always impressed with the service and the facility. We highly recommed this motel and look forward to staying again when we travel to the area.

Exceptional

Room was clean except the floor it should have been mop. Had white socks on and after walking on the floor they were black. Bathroom didn't have extra toilet paper. The refrigerator was an ice chest no controls. was afraid it would freeze my wife insulin. talk to front desk was told controls in back and you would have to pull out the refrigerator. They should have instructions in room on that. Also, the TV stated you could stream from your device like your phone or compute/laptop. All you got was a black screen talk to a few people stating there and they stated the same thing. Breakfast food was cold and the cereal would pour out of the container so had to open the top to get it out. The room was nice overall and the coffee was great. No pool at the price they should have one.

I found the breakfast choices lacking and anemic. The coffee was excellent but one morning - the muffin was stale. Very limited selections compared to other Hilton properties. The breakfast area was clean.

Full breakfast included. Great shower. Carpeting in ground floor hallway should be replaced.

From the time we came through the front door until when we left, it was a very pleasant experience. We will be back! Thank you ALL!

When we first arrived for check in, they assigned us to a room, we went back to that room, it was already occupied by other travelers. Went back to front desk, they got an attitude and reassigned us to another room, that room didnt have a working air conditioner. We were told to deal with it for the night. The next morning, they assigned us to another room. The shower in that room had almost no water pressure. The fridge didnt work. We asked for extra towels and did not get them.

It is located off the main drag, sort of in the woods. We had a woodsy view. The room was neat and clean. Bathroom very nice with ample amenities and towels. There was a mini-fridge but no microwave and no coffee maker. Nice choice of pillows. There was plenty of coffee, etc., in the lobby but a bit inconvenient if you're on the third floor and have to take the elevator down to get some. TV was huge with lots of channels. All in all, we liked it very much and were well-pleased with everything.

I would like to say the staff were very understanding.

It was clean and the staff had beautiful smiles.
