Yumekaiyu Awajishima

This hotel is a full managed one so everything meets what we expect. really nice and friendly staffs provide every assistance you need. we love the outdoor onsen where I had a wonderful time with my son. The room is big, compared with most Japan hotels (we were staying on 5th floor), the nice treetop view with the beach and sky. The Japanese bed is comfortable, we all had good sleep all the night. The restaurant provides good breakfast but the food area is a bit crowded so the flow is not smooth when peak time. It’s just a short walk across a small road to the beach and the beach is so beautiful. A great place to stay in the island. While the staff member kindly stood in the rain to assist with traffic when we were heading out for dinner, the pressure to move the car immediately—before I had finished setting up the navigation and securing the kids in their car seats—was overwhelming. I felt forced to depart prematurely just to avoid the staff getting soaked, which unfortunately compromised our safety and preparation. I truly appreciate the gesture, but it would have been much more helpful to have a moment to get settled before being directed to pull out.

The onsens where great and the location is fantastic.

Spacious and clean room with view, good Onsen and delicious Japanese Kaiseki dinner. Ingredients from Awaji was so fresh and delicious. Cozy and warm atmosphere. Nothing.

The breakfast was amazing, so many options and I loved that they had local produce like local yogurt and milk and honey which were all soo delicious Nothing! I'm really so happy I stayed there.

We had a fantastic stay! The room in Nagomi floor was spacious , it has its own lounge area where you can drink coffee and soft drinks anytime, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the spa services were top-notch. There are 2 kinds of public spa which both are very relaxing. We stayed there for anniversary celebration, I asked for a whole cake and flower for a surprise and it came with a gift for the celebrants. Thank you so much . Breakfast was delicious.Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for your next travel adventure!

I thought it was curious that the hotel didn't service the rooms everyday. We were only there for a few days, so it wasn't a huge issue, but I would inquire with the staff if you need your room cleaned and trash removed.

Beds were very firm, and no tattoos allowed in the onsens. We were able to rent a private onsen, but it wasn’t always available and an additional expense.

It is what a good hotel should be like. Everywhere is sparkling clean. Room is spacious. Friendly and helpful staff. Fast free wife. Beautiful onsens. Elevators you don't have to wait at all. Delicious and plentiful dinner and breakfast. Nothing

Staff was SO HELPFUL. I received 5 star treatment for 3 star price. The whole experience was luxurious and relaxing. I also made a last minute change to the reservation, and accommodated an extra person in the same room with no real fuss. I was nervous based on negative reviews, but I honestly believe they were TRYING to be dissatisfied. "The geta are too hard" SIR THEY ARE WOODEN!! An absolutely delightful experience I would happily revisit. The rooms are beautiful and contain all the necessities for a bath. Private shoe lockers are included. I am an overweight person, and they had yukata that fit me. I was EXTREMELY unclear about breakfast hours, and missed breakfast. Please be more clear for your English speaking customers! I wish room service for food was available. This onsen is NOT tattoo friendly, but I had no issues by using covers available at Don Quijote. This is not a "natural" onsen. A natural one will use the characters 源泉掛け流し or 源泉100%. This is not a reflection of the hotel or experience, and a misunderstanding on my part!

The onsen is large and covered but opens to view of trees, and is a great way to relax and enjoy nature. There is a self service juice/coffee bar inside a reading room next to lift lobby. The level difference between room and bathroom is quite a big drop, and can be treacherous and difficult for some.

There are four onsens which are out of my expectations. Each one is unique which provides me different experience The onsen water is a little bit hot, but comfortable. Buffet is great, fresh food veggies and fish from local farms and matket. Tastes yummy. Must try the multi-vegetables smoothie served in the breakfast buffet. Shuttle bus services is in service in the morning only. Suggest to take taxi from the Sumoto bus center to the hotel.

Location, service, staff, the food was very good, easy parking, fast internet, excellent Japanese bedding, great spas. not a lot; however, the hotel could use a bit of a make-over.
