The pillows are firm enough to provide support and the aircon is effective. The hotel is generally clean and bright, with a good location. It's also easy to get a Grab/Gojek. There's a strong language barrier if you don't speak Bahasa Indonesia or Javanese. Even in our broken attempt to speak a few lines, almost all the staff struggled to understand simple queries such as laundry service and how early we should be at the airport to catch our flight home. The breakfast buffet is also 99% local food so just be sure to manage your expectations. Western fare here is very scarce. Also, with the spa service, we had issues booking it as they claimed they'd run out of products and offered the service but for a shorter duration and only for one person. So, we decided to cancel the couple massage, afterwhich they called our room three times to confirm the cancellation, only to finally tell us we needed to call reception (not the spa) to confirm cancellation. If you're willing to have minimal interaction with the staff, this hotel could work for you.

This hotel is fantastic. Located in a very strategic location. I love the breakfast. Plus, they also have sauna and jacuzzi there. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Surabaya!

1. During my stay I needed to ask for the sheets to change two times. They were dirty after fresh change. 2. On the days of 24-25-26 the breakfast was not organized. I needed to wait 40 minutes on each of these days. Even Tho there were spaces inside. Total chaos in organization of the breakfast, no info in advance. 3. Unresponsive management. The problem of the sheets were reported at reception but not even the smallest response from the manager. I will surely not recommend anybody staying at this hotel. 4. The AC super loud. if you turn it on, you can't sleep.
