A good value for money option to visit Newtown & for the airport and a good price. The room was large, had good furniture and everything we needed. Initially I was pleased we were in a room at the back furthest away from any road noise but there was a persistent loud background hum from something like an industrial extraction/air con unit. Okay if you like to sleep with white noise - I used ear plugs.

The property was easily accessible from the car park. There was a lift to the second floor. The room was spacious and nicely presented with a private bathroom. Easy to get to the city. Sydenham train station was about ten minutes walk and just a credit card was required to swipe on and off. I was surprised there was no fridge in the room. Just a small fridge would make a difference to keep perishable food items. Better signage would be good to make it clear where to check in.

The bedroom was basic but very clean and tidy and comfy Going up to the rooms, it did not have an elevator, so I had to carry my heavy suitcase up the stairs

The rooms were clean and quiet The staff were helpful. It was a 15min walk to the metro station then a short trip into the CBD. You need to walk about 15 mins or more to get breakfast

The bathroom was good, the bed was comfortable, the bedlamps were nice and bright, the coffee was good, and I liked the picture on the wall of the old tollway of the harbour bridge. Going by the old cars, it looks like the 1930s. Loose drainhole grill on the bathroom floor. It kept coming loose as I was standing on it. The hotel room was also missing a microwave and a toaster, (unless they were hidden inside a cupboard), but I didn't need them anyway, because I had sandwiches I bought on that night, and I put them in the fridge and had them in the morning.
