The beds were very comfy, it was a great central location for where we needed to be, was great that we got fresh towels and water bottles daily. The blonde who checked us in and organised us leaving our bags at the hotel for the day was great! Sorry I didn't get her name, but I'd like to really sing her praise. We were woken up by noisy neighbours in rooms next to us each morning. Perhaps it might be a good idea to space the booked rooms apart a little along the floor to try prevent this? Also there wasn't a lift, but this information was provided when we were making our decision to stay here, and for us it wasn't too much of an issue!

The hotel is in a really great spot - surrounded by restaurants, bus stops and train stations. It was really easy to find and the staff were helpful. Our room was quiet and clean. It was tricky getting to our room with suitcases as there are no stairs, but it didn’t bother us too much. Because the hotel is above a pub, it was quite hard to navigate our way through to the bar to check in and out, but it was expected.

Great location There was building works through the entire first night. We weren’t made aware which was frustrating. No discount or bar credit was offered for the inconvenience. Bathroom was tiny.

Good location Only stairs so had to lug our cases up the stairs on the top floor. Really busy day so couldn’t get into our room till late
