Nice building, Foyer and bar was very nice and matched rage historic feel of the building Restraunt opening hrs, was closed Saturday night

The restaurant food was great. The hotel presents well on decor and architecture, the room was suitable for a nights stay. Clean and functional, and what to except for the era. The hotel was what you expect for an older building, there however was items which should be repaired, such as tap fittings.

Charming hotel in Sydney’s CBD, close to the main attractions. Overall, everything was good, including the service and cleanliness. Limited choice at the continental breakfast.

Location Poor air conditioning and unable to open windows to get fresh air, very stuffy.

It’s a lovely old fashioned hotel and very convenient to trains and light rail. It’s in the heart of the city and easy to walk to many places

Early check in for a fee - but the room was ready, so not sure about the value here. Left my luggage after check-out for no fee, and picked it up later. The room was an "up-grade" from a double - but the room was tiny, and the bathroom too. However, for the price, it was good value as I was travelling alone. Not sure I would do that again with partner.

The staff were welcoming and very helpful. On Friday evening we had a delicious meal in the restaurant and then we sat in the downstairs lounge/bar and we listened to a jazz band. On leaving, the staff were again very helpful and stored our luggage so we could take a walk around the shops (nearby) and get some lunch before taking the coach back to Canberra. They even called a taxi for us! We'd be happy to stay there again, for sure. We think that the chairs in the bedroom might have been more comfortable to watch TV although they were good enough.

The hotel is located in an excellent location in the midst of downtown Sydney. It is a beautifully renovated building with an excellent bar, lounge and restaurant. The room was small but had everything I needed and the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom offered a decent shower and nice thick towels. Nothing really

Beautiful, comfortable and practical and useful clean rooms. Great tea and coffee making facilities, with a separate (extra) kitchen sink that you can actually fill your kettle directly from the tap. Comfy bed and lux decor. Beautiful bathroom with a super hot shower and large basin/vanity. There is separate toilet room. The rooms has all the facilities you'd expect from a high quality hotel, very usable and comfortable. The rooms are beautiful. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I had a lovely interaction with the manager, who was so helpful. Overall I was very happy with my stay.

Elegant decor, quiet, central location to walk down to quay, botanical gardens and Opera House etc. Good value breakfast. Room was small, but adequate.

As a returning guest, I love this building. It has great atmosphere. The room was small but fine for my needs. It's close to Westfield and public transport. The breakfast is very good too. There was nothing of note to complain about.
