This wasn't a problem last year but this year there was no elevator. I'm not very good with climbing stairs and it doesn't make it convenient if you have a suitcase.

The capsules were really nice and roomy. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were great! You are provided with a large locker for you belongs you just need to bring your own lock. Besides the outside noise, it was super quiet in the pods. I didn’t notice anyone sleeping near me. The lift wasn’t working and the sleep areas were 3 stories up or higher. Difficult if you have luggage. If you were sleeping near the windows it was pretty noisy since there’s lots of bars nearby. Earplugs and noise cancelling headphones did the trick. Other hostels I stayed at in the area were way louder & disruptive.

Friendly staff and guests. Well-organized as well. Someone in my capsule room snored pretty loud

The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. Good dining options close by and walking distance to Central Station. The lift was not working and the hotel was on the fourth four floor up a very steep winding staircase.

the location was the highlight. Downtown is right at your doorstep. The metro is also just minutes away. If the location wasnt so great the stay wouldnt really be worth it. The elevator being out of service peeved me, especially on check in and check out lugging my suitcase to and from the 5th floor. The first and second level are bars, so you bump into some loud individuals along the way. The front desk doesnt open until 10am, which i thought is a bit slack especially if you need something before check out time. They dont speak to you when you walk in or ask if you have questions. Avoided eye contact completely, even.

Location, Big locker There were stains on the blankets. The bins, especially in the kitchen, should be emptied more frequently, as they are usually full by the evening. More toilets are needed per level. People should be allowed to choose between upper and lower bunk beds.

In theory the Capsule system is great, the idea is better than ordinary backpackers and privacy is respected, its ideal for a non party going backpacker and was very quiet regarding the people in the dorm. The place was let down by lack of detail by management assumably and some staff mainly those on in the last few days. No cooking facilities ok but guys boiled eggs in the jug! Yes had a microwave, toaster and jug all good but basic. Fridges both broke down and my food ruined. Attn to detail lacked eg often no teabags supplied, toilet paper often run out but I managed to find some in floor 5 cupboard but asked for more and guy behind counter said they had none and was being delivered. 100 people and all that money per night and they cant stock up on toilet paper? Again attention to detail. Very little cutlery (at one stage one knife and one fork - again it doesn't cost that much to buy a few, yes they do go missing but considering what u pay - really a bit stingy, same with bigger cups at one stage was one.) On cupboards one towel (some dried dishes with it, most wiped hands - how about a tea towel or two and a hand towel? Again attention to detail. If it were not for the lack of making sure the right facilities were provided, I would have rated this place very highly but whoever is responsible for quality control lets it down.

Great view from my bed, very good spot in the city. The room had many beds but it still felt super private and cozy. Bathroom smelled like paint thinner and there is lots of old branding using the space-y/futuristic capsule pods which don't seem to actually be used.

I liked the professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness of the sleeping space. The carpet in the individual room areas and bathroom showers could use a little updating. The common areas are comfortable and tidy. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at The Capsule! And yes I would stay there again.

    Lack of sufficient eating utensils

Smart pods, windows for natural light. Lack of sufficient eating utensils.

It is placed at a good location. You do need the guide they sent you to find the entrance (sent too late though). Given the type of hotel it is, I was positively surprised by the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the amenities it had. The beds have a fan and light option as well as charging options, which is nice.

The location it’s really good if you want to move around the city you have all the options, the room was clean with a good space walls bed and pillows good The share areas could be better I stayed in a quiet season but 2 toilets per floor its not enough; u can hear the noises from the city whole day but no too loud.

Location, windows, smart pods, large showers

Perfect central location , friendly staff! The hotel desk is located on level 3 with winding stairs. The do have an elevator which is very small and very slow. A bit of a tight squeeze if you have a decent amount of luggage. Other than this minor inconvenience, the facilities were great!
