Punches well above its weight for pub accomodation. Room was giant, modern and very clean. Hospitality, food & beverage downstairs at pub are superb. Would not hesitate to stay again. Value! Quiet room!

The food and room! Beds could be softer. Concierge need a notification process, bell or messaging app to alert staff upon our arrival.

There was no plug for the en suite sink. Management response was that is by design. As there was no built-in overflow in the sink, The sink was designed to have a pop-up plug but management removed it. I felt that they didn't trust me not to flood the bathroom, even though there were soakaways for floor water. I explained that when wet shaving I need to rinse the razor frequently and vigorously and running it under the tap dies not work as well. I will take my own plug next time {and there will be a next time, just not at the weekend when the accommodation prices skyrocket).

Despite being close to the airport, we could not hear planes from our room. Our room was stylishly fitted out in dark green and white. Although an old building the room was fresh and appealing. Food in the pub downstairs was very good. No complaints.

Bistro has a good selection of meals. Less than 2 minute walk to train station. Comfortable clean room. Only issue was basin tap in bathroom plumbed wrong, so cold water is warm.
