The staff were amazingly nice and welcoming I'm kind of sorry for this review because the staff were very nice but honestly after reading the other reviews I was not expecting that. I didn't feel good at the place, quite a lot of people seem to be living there and the density of people who seem to have some mental issues was too big. I recommend also to the hostel to place springs in the door because one senior guy from another room threaten us because the noise of the door closing was annoying to him and he looked like really crazy with that and with us, I was afraid almost every time I talked to someone in that place, very bad and insecure feeling.

Friendly staff I could ever met! The place was cozy and great value of money. Great location and convenience

It proves its name. It really is the most Zen hostel I've been to. Doesn't make justice to call this place a hostel though. It's rather a shared family house. There are daily meditations and free kombucha ^^ Ita just two minutes away from a train station. Felt like a privilege to be staying with them. We need more kombucha)

This place was just what i was looking for after enjoying the vibrance of Sydney. Great location near Kings Cross but on a quiet back street so a good night's sleep was still able to be had. fridges in the rooms and 24 hour common areas came in handy late at night and meditation a couple of times a day is a great way to escape for a bit. The home made kombucha was an awesome bonus. A chilled sense of community here. Thanks to the team and the pets for a wonderful stay Although the shared areas and rooms are kept pretty tidy the building is a little on the older side in parts but definitely has some character. Still kept clean though

no alcohol, noise or partying. A very gentle and mature behaviour policy. It wasn’t by any means filthy, but it wasn’t ultra clean either.

Wonderful location, really lovely staff

The staff were rude and passive aggressive to the extreme. They insult you for your "vanity" when you arrive and barge into your rooms unannounced. The dogs and cats are always underfoot and annoyingly uncontrolled and the whole place smells musty (probably due to all the cockroaches). Great location but horrible staff.

Exceptional service..and liked the no alcohol policy and the open meditation space Was not happy with my room which was below ground level with a definite smell from the damp in the walls...upstairs had much better air quality..
