I liked the room, and having a good bar and restaurant on site. It was also very close to the ICC which is where I was working. Excellent bathrooms. Dragging my bags up the stairs, but worse coming down. The noise from the bar later at night.

No staff at check out to help with stowing luggage and no elevator so you have to lift your suitcase up and down the stairs.

Location near Darling harbour was great, lovely old building, great atmosphere, comfortable room well kep with nice fresh amenities and large enough to accommodate 4 easily Only street noise was a minor issue, but we knew this before booking so were prepared, and this isn't the fault of the venue, it is just Sydney!

The only real negative was that it turns out my room was rather loud, as it must have been right over the top of the bar. Ear plugs provided worked well, fortunately.

Nice location, good bar and friendly staff. Smelly hallways, tiny room, and everything feels old and badly in need of renovation. There was a dirty dish sponge but no dishwashing liquid, which makes me think the dishes haven’t been properly cleaned in ages.

Cleanliness of the room and bathroom was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable. The karaoke event was enjoyable to listen to. The windows were old and lacked a sound seal, there was overnight construction outside the hotel, that I wasn't expecting. Several other guests or persons were loud on the 2nd floor after midnight until approx 4am. The noise was the biggest problem and I wasn't able to get much sleep.

Conveniently located. Clean, neat and tidy. No air conditioning meaning that the room was almost uncomfortably hot without windows open. With windows open there was a lot of street noise.

Room very tiny, electricity kept cutting out, couldn't plug heater and phone in at once, door was jammed made a lot of noise to open, stairs are a lot of effort with luggage, no screens on windows to leave open, no parking at all inconvenient

Location was convenient Dirty - sheets had hair on them, walls were filthy, shower mouldy, cockroaches, dirty carpets, room very rundown, street noise was very loud. Had booked two nights but left after one

Location, cleanliness The door of the bathroom was broken(latch wasn't working). No place to hang clothes inside the bathroom. Fan's max speed was like the slowest ever possible so room was little hot to stay.

Meals in the pub were excellent. It's a little noisy but otherwise all fine.

Location very handy for Darling Harbour. The room was tidy and clean. The roof terrace was a nice option I obviously didn't read the description etc. properly. I didn't realise the bathroom was shared. However, this would have been okay if it was clean. On arrival, it was gross... I informed the staff and they sorted this out... but felt dodgy still with a panel off the wall with bare wires sticking out... and the water pressure was poor.
