Great central spot to enjoy Vivid. With amazing view from balcony

The location was great. The room size was larger than I expected.

Location Check - in could be improved. We left our bags at the hotel early, unable to check in early, we advised we had a wedding and not sure of our return time. Staff advised we would get a code if we weren’t back by 11pm. When I hadn’t received a code nearing 11pm, I tried calling multiple times unable to get through. So my husband left the wedding, taxied back to make sure we had access to the room. Suggestion, send the code earlier in instances like this.

The location, comfortable room and bed, products were nice too TV and table and outside furniture was very dusty!

The view was amazing from my room. I arrived late and the guy at the bar was very friendly and welcoming. I'd stay here again as it is only 4 mins walk from the metro and if you like jogging, there is a great path really close by.

Great small but comfortable room which was close to local attractions. Nice and clean with a view over Barangaroo. Pub downstairs and rooftop bar with beautiful views above. Great value! The room was starting to get a bit knocked around. Perhaps time for a facelift.

For the price, there wasn't anything I particularly missed.

That the room was large and unique That staff don’t arrive until 10 am only because we had an early tour and unable to store our bags

Locations and view

Room was not cleaned for 2 days but we had a great experience with the manager on site name T (female) she was also responsible for managing the bar upstairs. She took great care of us and addressed all our issues. Your lucky to have her working for you. See above

There was nothing to like. This Hotel was a nightmare. They guaranteed us a 2pm check in and that did not happen, the sink in bathroom had mold, the door knob to the door in patio did not lock and was about to fall off. No A/C, paint chipping from the ceiling and no closet to put your close. We do not understand how they are in business…..

The location was a ten The first night of my booking was not available because the room had been rented out. It is turned into a nightmare.I've spent over an hour and a half on the phone to booking, trying to get it straightened out. So I not only lost a 1 a day of my vacation had to rent another room and pay for another uber to get back to the hotel. The property may have missed sir spring cleaning and maybe they'll get back to it in the fall.But it could use a little bit of a facelift. Would I stay there again?Probably what I prefer not to stay there with a booking reservation.Yeah probably.

The vibe, the decor, the super friendly staff at the pub downstairs. The fact that there was a pub downstairs made the stay more fun. Also having access to free drinks due to the stay was super nice too. The view from the room was also really nice. The place didn't have the best noise insulation and we could hear people from the nearby rooms sometimes. Also it would be nice if the bar at the top floor stayed open longer into the night.

The view was amazing and the lovely balcony with a beautiful view of Sydney Harbour Bridge. Roof top bar was lovely with amazing staff and once again the view was fabulous. the hotel was dirty and the room smelt , there was a cockroach in the lift and it was very noisy but to be expected being above a hotel and with construction going on close by, in which they started work early on a Saturday morning .

No air conditioning.

It was very warm & the lack of air conditioning was a minus. Few or no utensils in the room. No place to boil the kettle. No screens on windows. Noisy floor boards in & outside the room.

Staff were friendly in the bar. Bathroom was clean. For those wanting an outdoor balcony, this would have been a bonus in some rooms. In our ignorance, we were unprepared that the bar tables and roof top bar tables were booked out with Christmas functions. So, we sat outside. Incredibly noisy. The one and only lift was incredibly slow, and you had to use it for levels 4 and 5. Old cobwebs in tiny room. No cutlery in room for tea and coffee making. Hot tap on bathroom sink did not work. Had to boil kettle on floor as no power points on walls. Champagne was served in a cocktail glass, so it went flat. On asking for a flute for the next drink it was only half a glass. This continued for every drink.

The property was in a great location to access a variety of sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place is historical - so of course somewhat small and dated but a welcoming and comfortable place for a short stay.
