Suburban Studios Syracuse Fairgrounds

An average place. I booked with Suburban Studios and got a second floor room. As this hotel also books guests as Quality Inn (they use separate computers), I am guessing they get first floor accommodations.

Place was clean and no issues with the room. They had a very strict policy for check in. I got there at 245 and was told to wait till 300. This wasn’t the issue, but a line quickly formed so the staff had very little time. Didn’t let me know if there was WiFi, or when and where breakfast was. Had no idea if the lounge was open or what time. Felt very rushed due to the strict check ups n. The staff was rushed due to the queue so no all on them.

A decent place to stay if you need a spot to just lay your head.

Security deposit takes forever to be refunded when using Cash App. I recommend paying for room and deposit in cash if possible

This property is not well maintained. It is dirty.

I booked a room with kitchenette . Firstly they gave a room with no kitchenette . I reported it to the manager and told me that yes because we have no kitchenette rooms available. Didn't tell me anything. I purchased hundreds of dollars of food for this

Upon checking in, we were greeted by several men sitting on the floor on both sides of the very long hallway. It gave me homeless shelter vibes. I counted at least 6 people sitting in the hallway. This should not be allowed. It was very creepy and unacceptable! No hotel should allow this. I didn't want to leave my wife alone to get water, snacks, etc.. It's a shame because the room itself was decent. Overall, a very bad experience.

My stay was not very good due to what I believe are long term rentals. A group of men staying in the room across the hall constantly for hours were slamming the door about every 2 minutes. Fighting inside the room etc. Breakfast was minimal to say the least, but at least it was something. Overall I'll give this stay a 3 out of a possible 10.

Location. No smoke detector, dirty shower, holes around receptacles and I saw a roach. Will not stay again. I will spend the 25.00 extra a night to stay in a better place.

Nothing Bugs

If you’re looking for cheap and don’t mind mold in the shower it’s ok. Dont like the fact that they won’t go out of their way to provide breakfast to guest that have the book out before 8am. They could at the very least give you a muffin, fruit or something.

Everything went well, staff was great

The stay was horrible mold in the bathroom and along the window sill.There were stains on the shades and on the walls in the room there were crickets crawling on the shade and some where even dead on the floor .The toliet was stopped and the walk in shower was leaking water all on the floor .The covers were clean and the wash rags all looked dingy and not as clean .Never again will I ever rent a room from them again .Think twice before you book a room the hotel staff was accommodating and everything but not a good experience at all do not book this hotel.

The staff brushed off the safety concerns when they were told the rear entrance lock was broken. The room a smoke smell to it. And the area was loud which led to poor sleep. Not pleased with the facilities for the price!

The cleanliness of the entire hotel is subpar. It is obvious that the hotel staff is not maintaining the quality of the facility; the ceiling is falling off, the bedsheets stink, and the bathroom is filled with grime and hair all over the walls.

This place should be your LAST resort. As it was mine for the SU graduation. It is behind another motel. The walls in the room were crumbling. Even after cleaning the room myself it was still a mess. I slept above the blanket in my sweatsuit. Bathroom fixtures rusty and the sinks needed aerators to control the pressure. The hallways smell damp and are full of dehumidifiers trying to fix it. I barely made it thru the night and as I was packing up saw bugs. Safe to say I’m never coming back. They need a huge renovation.

My tv didnt work so i got a new room, then i needed batteries but the manager quickly took care of it. He had every tool necessary and was super nice. I felt safe and cared for.
