The castle is wonderful. There were only some guests, so we could enjoy almost the whole hotel alone. The dinner was 10/10, simple fantastic. We are regular guests, but this time way one of our favirite.

Charming property - an elegant combination of a restored manor house and the adjacent modern building nestled in a quiet park with a view over Szilvasvarad coupled with wonderful service and food options close to Bukk National Park. Super location, very nice building and wellness area. Good food, good vibes. We have participated in an event “End of Winter Carnival “. The ball, the program and the dinner were all very nice and we had fun with costumes. The 2nd floor Romantic room is a bit smaller than expected

Fabulous! An extraordinary place, extremely kind people who tried their best to satisfy our every wish. Excellent food, especially dinner. Quality services, large rooms with complex facilities, comfort, numerous activities available. We had a wonderful time, we will definitely come back!

Stunning building, beutiful area to stay. Quiet and peaceful with all the amenities you can imagine Needs a bit of re-furbishment, but still great value for money, the buffett dinner is a bit hit and miss

Location, hotel interior, room, cleanliness, breakfast. - Cannot make the bedroom dark enough - it was equipped with curtains only, which don't block light enough. - Wellness closes at 8pm, but, after 7pm, facilities are gradually switched off one by one. Also, there is no hot/warm water in the wellness showers. - No bar open after 10pm.

Very nice and quiet place. The personal of the hotel were very attentive and friendly. The menu was not so big but very delicious. We liked this place. In the future I will be back with all my family. Thank You very much for such place, You’ve done a big work to make such attractive and worthy place

Due to the hotel unilaterally cancelling our reservation for the booked and confirmed dates, they upgraded us to a larger room and allowed us to stay with our dog (for quite a high additional fee though). The manor house, where our room was located, is sort of distant and less attractive than the main building. Staff were generally unfriendly and unsupportive. Selection of food was rather underwhelming at the dinner buffet. We got a mild food poisoning following the dinner, and there was near to no empathy from staff. Prices displayed at the pool bar were incorrect and we were charged more for drinks. There was an unnecessary warning brought to each guests' attention concerning the dress code for the dinner. They charge a separate fee for parking your vehicle in within the premises. There was only enough shower gel in the bathroom for 1 person to take a shower. Overall we found that the hotel offered a poor value for money.

Location and facilities are great. Air conditioning in our room did not work. Asked 10 times to get it fixed and nothing done about it. In 29c no aircon unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. Plus staff told us 10 excuses for it not working. Seems they knew and just gave us false information as we’d then have no choice but put up with it. Disappointed with this for what otherwise is a lovely hotel.
